This site is no longer being used and is now a joint operation just slightly further up the road at a dedicated site.

I pulled in about 6:45 in the evening, and had a Sheriff come up and tell me that no sleeping overnight was allowed at any boat ramp in S Carolina. He also said that right now, the parking lot is being used by employees who are working on dredging in the area, which I think is why they are cracking down. :(

Nice place to stay, very friendly staff.
Nowadays there is also a dump station and potable water available without an additional fee. I do not know if dumping is possible without booking a campsite.

Rest stop just off the highway. Entry sign says no overnight camping, other sign says limit stay to 8 hours. I stayed one night without problems. Pit toilets, EV, charging station, picnic tables. Highway noise, but otherwise fine. Close to the river, but I couldn’t find a path down.

Great spot at the end of the road. Possible spot just before at the gas pipe fencing. Gala gps app shows the road the best. A couple sandy spots half way on the dirt road but just keep it moving. If it is wet may have problems. I an in a 2 x4 transit 150 with falcon tires. I have good cell service 3 bars.

I'm a local across the street. it's normally a good place Burke County Sheriff Dept are actually pretty good and friendly, parking lot I never seen full. the back right corner usually someone or a few just hang out up their, probably still good catfishing

I wasn't able to find this place.

Just off the road so traffic is very audible but nothing crazy. The view is nice and it’s easy to get to and from the freeway. There was one other car here but they left so it’s very spacious.

Location: Super convenient spot to get into. Washboard road is a little rough, but easy enough to traverse — 2wd can easily do it. Pulled into the first available turn-in and had 5 neighbors.

Noise: Not up against the highway, but close enough to hear it. Not terribly loud.

Cell / Internet: AT&T: 2-3 bars (5G) 86 down / 4 up.

Honestly great to find an area with a connection given how spotty the rest of Moab is.

Dry camp site was $35.
Included on that is an indoor pool and hot tub, unlimited showers(!!!), and free WiFi.

Good covered spot. Quiet with quite a few amenities such as shops, restaurants etc within walking distance. Public toilets available at the visitor centre about 5 minutes walk. Appear to be open 24/7.

amazing place, 100PpP, worth every penny, huge area, nice views, some mosquitos, Toilette, cold shower, waste bins, big rig friendly, 90PpP if you like a guided walk, quite place, one of the bests sides in mexico so far

Called and asked permission to stay overnight in our camper van. We were told that it was allowed as long as we were only staying for one night and as long as we parked far away from the door. Quiet night and level spots. Would stay again.

Sleeping in my car. A lot of space out front away from the trucks. Clean. Staff super friendly and helpful for this first timer!

Nice grassy spot by the river…seems like at one point they dug up an old cement water pipe and now people have moved all the broken bits around and it looks like a sculpture garden…Georgian style. Off the main highway, but kinda close to a smaller road. Not a spectacular site, but good for a night. @lifeofshack

Driveway with electricity inside city limits of Gunnison across street from public toilets (open seasonally). Cell signals strong here, same as anywhere else in town. Must book through vanly app (linked).

We climb a little bit upper on the hill, still not hidden from the road, but very good spot. 4G connexion average (with Unitel) but ok for WhatsApp videocall.
We arrived here by the north, and may be 30 km before, before Jinst, we've passed a great 4G zone on the highest part of the road.

Car wash and water point not on site anymore. There is a focet sign along the road but we asked and they told it us behind a building but there was nothing there

Nice option near the airport outside windhoek. 300N for a site with power, bin & tap. Lovely views and nice and peaceful with very friendly staff.
The ablutions are average but clean enough and super hot with good pressure so can't really complain. Would recommend

We arrived late at night so it was good that this place is so accessible. There were already a few other campers but the place is more than large enough to accommodate this and still be ‘private’. Great view and very convenient!

This store sells farm and agriculture equipment. It also sells fuel in the back, in case the petrol station here isn’t open for some reason.

Great location, really nice place, good parking, if your vehicle is not too high, (see picture with the entrance to the parking lot left of the reception). Single occupancy asking price 25€, we settled on $20 after 2 minutes of bargaining. The restaurant is reasonably priced, but to my surprise she asked for $1 per piece of laundry, so a small bag would have come to $12 - we agreed on $5 after a bit of haggling, which is still a bit much.

Great convenient stop over right off of the N7. Everything clean and a warm welcome. We didn't ask about Wifi, strong MTN signal. Still 150 rand pp per night.
