large gravel parking, no no-overnight camping signs, some people in the evening and in the morning who come to walk their dogs, but we had a quiet and calm stay there

Really nice stay. Several spots with picnic tables and fire pits right along the river. Two boat launches, two pit toilets and large trash collector. Very quiet, only 1 fifth wheel camper neighbor. I car camped in a FWD Hyundai hatchback. Absolutely no cell service with Visible.

An out of the way RV park on the beach. For those that this is their destination, it's a nice little RV park. Power was stable, 15amp service used. For those that are passing through, it's out of the way.

Lots of bugs due to the season.

Beach was fantastic to go swimming at.

Showers still $5. I went mid day and there was no hot water left but still nice and clean. Private room with toilet, sink and shower

Basic canpground, some spots up the hill are more private, some are basically in the parking lot beside the public lot so can get noisy and busy. But great views of the lake

Very nice place. You can’t hear highway traffic although there’s gonna be trains rolling by very frequently. Other than that quiet and scenic.

nice big flat pullout roughly 100m away from the main road. almost no noise unless guys tuned their exhaust system. many fire rings and east oriented so the sun wakes up nicely to your windows. many small water streams around that we drinked from with no issue. nothing fancy but we enjoyed 1 night here. 2wd accessible easily, could fit at least 3 vans still keeping some privacy

Nice place to sleep before or after the visit of Calakmul. We stay here with a 4wd camper and a tent. It is very quiet!

Wow what a show! We really recommend it. It cost 75 pesos for adults and it is free for children. You need to arrive around 1h before sunset.

I paid 20Q parking 40Q entrance and camping. a bit expensive I think. from 7am to 14pm there is a watermotor that take water from the lake that is incredible noisy. the water was not to clear, because the lake was not full, is the end of dry season. If you have a drone you'll take awesome photos.

Important: be careful with the caws, one of the eat a big bag where I had vegetables and fruits 🤦🏼‍♂️

Prices are still the same as described below. There is a restaurant so it is possible to eat-in. Food was good - Indian type. Good place to stay overnight.

Stayed here over night, few big rigs and another RV here. Worked in the lot during the day and we’ve seen plenty of other RVs come setup. 220 down 12 up speed on starlink

We stayed at Valentine's garden for total 2 weeks. We needed to fix our van and he helped us connect with car garages and mechanic around the town.

He will let you stay for $5 a day (as of Jun 2023) or the equivalence of $ARS, or for a monthly basis. I heard other overlanders sometimes leave their van here for a few months and they go back to their country. There's a lot of space!

He was a super super friendly guy, and we had so much fun together! If you have any problems, he will definitely try his best to help you.

We basically slept in our van but he let us use his bathroom, shower, wifi, electricity etc.

He speaks a little English, enough to communicate. (the translater app will do the rest)

He also has a friendly pup called Negura. Loves to play with you.

Overall, highly recommended!

This place badly rip you off. Foreigners should not go there. All staff corporate very well to overcharge you. To change engine oil paid over US $200.
The handwritten invoice was not clear and the total amount was not correct. You claim it they simple change the price of each item

Ok for one night before arriving to Quito. Really fancy and expensive coffee. We consumed some empanadas in the convenience to use the Wi-Fi, but in the end it was not working.

There is WiFi here. Next to the highway so we have that noise but not a terrible place to stay.

A selection of stands available, some with electricity and with taps scattered around. Most stands aren't level and we took some time to level the camper.

Clean but basic ablutions and nice views of the surrounding area to drink your coffee to. Sporadic MTN 3G signal only.

We paid R200 per night for two people in a camper.

Beautiful campsite directly on the lake. very quiet. Was alone here.

The road is destroyed by the river 6km from kemaliye. Ladder acces for pedestrians

Nobody ask to pay something. We arrived at 17:30 and left in the next morning. Very quiet safe and night calm. Flat. Ok for big rig

Stayed here. Beautiful view but a park ranger stopped by around 7:30am to say overnight parking wasn’t allowed. There were multiple rigs parked here.

Fuel station for trucks and EVs. Visible from I-5. Trucks parked overnight. At 11:30 PM I found no attendant, but police stopped by and told me it was OK to stay there in my RV camper van. The next day, the owner stopped by, asked me when I was going to leave, and I said sometime in the afternoon, and that was fine. I spoke with him again and asked him about posting this listing, and he approved and thanked me for doing so.

Found the parking lot following the instructions left by someone on here, there was no sign to check in with security but there are security cameras, so it felt safe.

Wilko has set up his own company proworx in Mast's garage. Otherwise nothing changes. Top service at a reasonable price. Wilko did extensive work on my Unimog. Very solid and clean work. Really nothing to complain about. Problem-free contact from Germany via WhatsApp.

Amazing spot at the end of a gravel road on a nice patch of grass. Superb view over this little lake.
High clearance vehicle needed, the road leading there is full of bumps and puddles, 4x4 recommended. Road gets pretty narrow, so large vehicles are not recommended. If you don't want scratches on your rig this place might not be for you because there are a couple of bushes and branches on the way.
Phone reception is decent.
Please pack out what you pack in!
