dump station at rocky's gas station.
You have to go to the pump side for RV/Boat. Dump station is at the same place where you fill in fuel. Super clean with water to rinse. FREE
Best thing to do is fill in gas too to continue to have free service

Spent the night here with another van. Leads right to the trail everything was covered in snow but spot was still easy to access. Got out early as people did start showing up. Had good service and the highway noise really wasn’t bad

Never seen a rest area like this! Main parking area was a bit busy, but plenty of individual tucked away private shelters to park next to. Train noise and windy, but for a rest stop the only thing it's missing are vending machines!

We had a super quiet night. We slept well and didn't hear anything from the trucks. Dennis' WiFi worked well.

I camped there with a small tent, not a vehicle.
Cell Phone was OK.
Wifi non existent.
Hot shower ok;
Bathroom is the same square as shower. Small place, like 2 m2.
Camping is behind their house.
Open space, not sheltered.
They have 3 dogs that will regularly visit you, nice dogs, not a problem with a RV, but it does make it difficult to pack and unpack tent when they want to play.
Camping is hosted by an elderly couple. English non existent, and even their Spanish is a bit hard to understand. Nice people, but once they lock their door, almost impossible to reach if you need any assistance. Not a real businees, more like a house with an attached side business.

Don't miss this place, it's a little heaven, not only for trucks or car but also for bikers and cyclers and heaven backpackers, they have room to rent or a huge grassy area to pitch tents, share kitchen.... And the really refreshing pool. That is the place to stop and rest before or after the border.

Beautiful view of Death Valley. The road is extremely rocky. High clearance and 4×4 is a must. There are not many turnaround spots. This spot is 5.9 miles from West Side Road. Also, it's not very level. but the views are worth it. Park Ranger told us we did not need a permit to camp here.

We hat a wonderful quit night in the middle of the National Park. Maybe it's a little bit expensive, but you support one of the few National Parks. And think about how much gas you burn for driving through Peru and South America

Well kept RV Park with very kind staff. It was the only place that answered on New Years Day when we were driving through. It has a ton of Dry Camping spots. We needed showers, so we paid the extra $10 for use of the bathrooms. Bathrooms we clean, warm and large. This was just what we needed after a long day of driving from Baja! We paid a total of $33 for one night including the bathroom charge.

Sleeps here fine. we ask the front desk for staying the night and no problem with them. A lot of road noise and a lots of people walks by the parking lot all night long… some were a bit weird. Left early in the morning to eat somewhere

We didn't go all the way to the cliffs. Big rigs can stay on the upper parking lot. Several camper parked here. Some territorial dogs here (in case you bring one), but not aggressive towards people. Don't miss the sunset at this place - it's amazing! Sometimes people come by to sell you a camel ride or sandboarding, but they weren't too intrusive. We enjoyed staying here.

Many spots for cars and tents at the rocky beach. Quiet, only one dog visited us. At the "entrance" there is a lot of rubbish, down at the sea its way better. Many birds, good road, easy accesible.

No bathrooms or anything really except picnic tables. . . but it was a beautiful overlook to the plain below. . . . January. 2023. Spent the night. . and caught a gorgeous sunset. It would be a perfectly fine "dark sky night" with the right moon phase.

Amazing space, highly recommend staying here!
As everyone has described before. The road coming in is dirt but smooth, we managed well in our short bus conversion. We stayed in the upper lot which is better for larger vehicles, the lower lot is beautiful if you’re staying a while or in a small rig. Perfect distance from the highway. Recommend calling when you arrive, the number is further down the page on here :) Beautiful beach and Noa is a wonderful host and we felt so blessed to be there over New Year. Will always stay here during our trips.

Not sure about the GPS location. Is paid beach parking. I drove across the bridge to Rosselli park. Sign says overnight parking requires a city permit. Couldn't find any info. Stayed 2 nights no problem.

Ficamos por aqui 2 dias. Lugar super calmo a noite. Como estávamos na alta temporada, durante o dia teve um pouco de barulho das pessoas que chegam. Nosso motorhome tem 6.5m. Tem sinal de telefone da claro.

Beautiful area. If you enjoy wild nature with no one else around then you'll love it here. You can walk in the park (no guide when we were here, staff were hardly seen), explore and find beautiful rock pools for swimming. The campsite itself is very much 'has been' as the facilities have been abandoned and there are hardly any actual paths. However, we were completely alone here, the mountains are stunning, there is a stream running by the campsite and I'm you feel very much in nature. Depends what are your priorities! We loved it. Last 2km of road in is not good but mainly rocky not muddy.

As if you are going to the awesome XQuarry for some off road fun, from the E55 from Maleha (Please note the “DO NOT CAMP” signs along this road) and before you get to the pass through Al Faya mountain and passing by the Maleha camp, you need to cut across the desert in front of the ‘Eye of Maleha’. There is a road that goes around the other side of the Eye.

There are a number of little spaces to park up and have space between you and other either picnicing or camping. Most leave by midnight. We found a space that is about 1.5km from XQuarry and giving us a view of the Jebel Al Fayah mount ridge which we think is made up of at least two old men laying down. (Can you see them?).

Behind you is the Al Faya Dune. This is where the first warning comes. There will be quads and off roaders thrashing this so you will need to be expecting some noise and our second warning is the cars on the road driving like GTA, so be conscious of children playing if you have them.

Final warning is there is a quarry close or even two, so you will have a distant sound of lorries and quarry machinery.

Apart from this the area is pleasant and, flat and free. The locals that stopped were very friendly offering any help which is amazing as ever and wild life is lovely as though we did not see it the old men of the mountain have an owl.

Lastly, we had a decent signal with Virgin.

Nice spot. Beware of remaining parts of the barber wire fence next to the water - they can be hardly visible at night.

It's a big place directly at the lake with a braai spot. Normally very quite. Some locals pass by but don't disturb us. They are very friendly. On special day, like new year, it's a party place. But they went out if is dark.
