Quiet road with a challenging hike. 10k 4 mountains. Took just over 4 hours in the snow. No amenities. Garbage bin on the way out at the Griffith picnic grounds. Bathrooms there open May-oct.

Very nice place next to the beach. Look for the spot with trees for cooler mornings. Also nice village to visit.

There was a gendarmería car in front of this place with lights on. Didn't stop us.

Absolutely loved this place! Still barely any people/rigs, on NYE there were only 2 more trucks here.

$200 pesos per night, Benjamin is super nice, you got 3 adventurous toilets to choose from, but great snorkeling and huge herds of dolphins daily (now mostly at around 10am-1pm)

This COULD be the perfect campsite under palmtrees directly at the sea. However garbage is all over the reserve. It’s a shame, that nobody seems to care, even if it is called „bio-ecological resort“ and an entrance fee is required.

We would not come back and do not recommend this location!

A marvelous place to stay in the Rio. The owners are extremely nice and attentive. Very nice little bungalow. Isolated. We watch the lanchas go by.

Back of the alpine lot right by the transportation centre. Just go inside and get a pass to fill out and put on your rear view. Free for the night for seemingly unlimited time. There’s washrooms with running water right next door.

great spot for a night. arrived around 5pm with no parking guard around and the last 10 cars leaving within an hour. very quiet but indeed full of mosquitos. left by 7.30 am still nobody there. high recommendation for a stopover

We spent one night at the regular camping. Was ok, 185 N$ ppn includs park fee for hiking. We did the roundtrip to Elephants Head and visited the Philipps Cave. Both absolutely worth it.
We also spent a night in the bush camp (250 N$ ppn). That was not so well maintained and had some moscitos, wouldn't go there again.
3 Elephants Camp from Omandumba on the other side of the Mountain is far better.

Local ótimo pra ficar com seu motorhome, grátis, com sombra, ficamos de um dia para o outro, mas movimentado, tem banheiros públicos abertos até as 18h, duchas pagas beira da praia, um estacionamento pago ao lado com abastecimento de água, é seguro, local monitorizado e com vigia parte da noite, com mercado próximo 2min a pé.

Great site - fully operational in January 2023.

We were going to do a wildcamping in the gorge, but the sun was very strong and we decided to come to the camping. With drinking water points. Electricity only at night. An employee came to charge us later, $300 pesos per car! The bathroom with hot shower is close to the stadium. Bad public wifi in the city.

Íamos fazer um widcamping na quebrada, mas o sol estava muito forte e decidimos vir para o camping. Com pontos de água potável. Eletricidade somente no período noturno. Um funcionário veio nos cobrar mais tarde, $300 pesos por carro! O banheiro com ducha quente fica próximo ao estádio. Wi-fi ruim público da cidade.

Nice campground with all the amenities, restrooms, drinking water, you can make barbecues, you have to bring your coal and utensils.
It has a very cute beach where you can swim, it is very quiet and pretty, nice sunsets.
$20 BRL day pass and $10 BRL overnight pero person.
A tiny motor home is doable but not super big rigs.

This camping is better than a lot of private and expensive campsites we've been to. Small but clean area and bathroom, hot shower, electricity and the place is very quiet. Enough space for few tents and small vans. There is a mini market right in front of the camping

I actually really like this place. sure it smells like cows and it's surrounded by fields there's a pack of coyotes that come surprisingly close, but this place really is a hidden gem. There's a house nearby but a total of two vehicles have driven past me. If you drive on past the flat part at the entrance you go down this dirt road to the left and come across a nice little copse of trees next to the pond. It feels more tucked away.

We spent a new year eve here with others travelers. But for sleep we prefer park in a street. Calm night.

Very beautiful place, with prices as described below. We first payed for 4 hours but then extended it for the whole day, so we could spend the night and walk around the next day. We suggest to use this place during the week or check when there are no tours. The first day we were ther the pools were nice, but on the 2.1. in the morning there were too much people - at least 5 tourist vans arrived and the pools were packed.

Si vous avez un gros VR, essayer d’arriver dans la semaine car il a beaucoup d’auto pour si rendre et c’est assez étroit. Les gens sont vraiment sympathique, avec un petit restaurant, bar et dépanneur. Attendez vous de ne pas avoir beaucoup de pression niveau eau. Si non la plage est vraiment belle . Nous y avons passé 5 nuits et je reviendrai sûrement ♥️

You can visit here in winter with no problems. Road is paved and enough of a thru road during the day it is plowed. Was visited by a deer trying to dig a bed for the night in the snow beside my car. To shelter from the howling wind? Not a single car past sundown. :) Some sizable fallen rocks along the road, take it slow.

Big campsite with a lot of pitches with big trees for shade. Ablutions are fine and showers run hot with good pressure.

Campsites are not really private though since you are standing next to eachother without anything in between, but we didn’t mind. Huge pool as well.

Have to say there were a lot of guests playing music or just sitting around bonfire talking till deep in the night, so not much sleep at all. I think it’s a great site but not in the holiday season.

Great spots! About 15 paved sites. Can have 2 cars if needed. Pit toilets. Bring your own food and water and leave no trace. Said it was $15 a night pay with check at the box. Quiet!

We came here because in the city it was very difficult to overnight. It is possible but for small rigs. So we decided to give it a shot to this place, since the last entry was 3 years ago. It was around new year so the town was full! In the peninsula people come to enter their boats or jet ski. So we parked in one side close to the street to do not bother anyone. We spend 4 nights and it was perfect. some people come to park next to us during the day but at night nobody here. Very quiet and safe.

outer North Scottsdale,Arizona all ages camping with full hookups. in an estate community with dirt road for about a mile or two in from 156th. you can buy farm fresh eggs. they have a washer and dryer on site without any coins needed. mostly open area on flat ground , depending how particular you are. theres about seven sites, it was us and three others when we came. I would not suggest coming for just a day if you're a big rig as the one road had a sharp inverted hill portion.
