Nice and quiet place to camp with a van or a tent. You can park your camper in front of the beach under coconut trees, put your hammock and take a rest. You can collect coconuts and enjoy it. There are "just" a lot of garbage around. Some local come here night and day to fish but it is not an issue. Some seaweeds, but currently there are not smelling bad. This is not the best beach to swim, we prefer go just after the bridge (10km north). No insects during our stay since there had enough wind all the time.

The road is warzone (but fun), the beach is covered in trash (we cleaned a lot) BUT it is beautiful (!!) here. With some fairy lights and hammock, we made us a cozy „home“ for a couple of days - and dolphins came by too
Totally recommend it if you are not lazy to give some love to Pachamama! You will be honored with coconuts and turquoise sea
(Made a lill‘ shrine too)

This COULD be the perfect campsite under palmtrees directly at the sea. However garbage is all over the reserve. It’s a shame, that nobody seems to care, even if it is called „bio-ecological resort“ and an entrance fee is required.

We would not come back and do not recommend this location!

21 km of very bumpy road to get here... It took us 2h drive... The place itself is a little paradise, with coconut trees all around, but the beach is full of garbage... It is very sad to see. We had an amazing time but I don't think we would've come knowing the road and beach conditions.

We had to pay 100 Pesos per person to get in to the bio reserve, to get to this spot.

Beautiful spot among the palm trees next to an abandoned house. Unfortunately a lot of seaweed and trash. Super windy. I was there on the weekend, it was super quiet and nobody bothered me.

Report Check-In

As perfect as described. Spent 2 quiet and safe nights.

amazing spot. but watch out in the water are a lot of rays and we saw a four meter long shark... the reef is quite far out from there. can recommend it anyways.

Wooow! as said before: one of the only places that are worth going in the reserve to camp, but god it is worth it!! We were alone 3 days, no seaweed, no noise, still some garbage, but we parked in front of it so we wouldnt see it😁. We added some deco, please keep it alive!!

Report Check-In

we were here for two nights.
it's a beautiful spot.
low waves because of the reef.
saturday a local family came and camped next to us, like 20 Mexicans. they know how to party. everybody super friendly. music till 2 in the morning.
we liked this place very much.

Good spot to camp. Lots and lots of plastic though, feels like you are not making any difference filling up a few bags with cleaning, but it makes you feel a bit less awfull...

Report Check-In

The only kind of acceptable spot to wild camp in the reserve. We explored almost every trail going to the beach, but they're usually overgrown with not much space to move around or visible from road. We were also disappointed with the reserve as there is so much developed private land, people fishing on the bridge, where it's prohibited and the ever present trash 😖

Report Check-In

nice spot. We stayed a few days under the coconut palms. as with all the beaches a lot of trash. unfortunately pretty wind while we were here so didn't have the chance to go swimming. amazing under a full moon. everything lights up
