Very nice place. The owners are so friendly and introduced us to all their animals. We were allowed to choose a place and could spend the day and night there undisturbed. We haven't had such a great pitch for a long time. Quiet from street noise . We were the only guests. Again and again, we would visit this place with pleasure. Wifi is god .

What a wonderful place never imagined a campsite to be like this. Really impressed with the personality of Luis such a great guy with a true passion for overlanders and especially their wellbeing.
The site is great have rooms, tents and can also stay in your RTT. Great parking space. Clean showers, a great bar area.
Certainly is a a beautiful place and one of the best i have seen on my travels London to Cape Town to Cairo

Spent New Year 2023 at Campo Archelon.

We first visited here one year ago over Christmas, and a lot of changes transpired since then.

Hurricane Kate hit Baja in September and caused extensive flash flooding. Campo Archelon received quite a blow, but owners Antonio and Alejandra clearly have worked tirelessly to recover.

A year ago their mother's dog Nina was just a puppy. she's grown now, and is very protective of their mother's house. She's responsible for some of the "bad dog" feedback, but Antonio has made changes to make sure Nina stays out of trouble.

We had the good fortune to attend a New Year pot luck celebration they hosted at Cafe Siete Filos.

They are exceptionally generous and thoughtful and we look forward to returning, hopefully during Whale Shark season.

We appreciate the good facilities and their commitment to good stewardship.

Sehr schöner Platz . Die Eigentümer sind so freundlich und haben uns ihre ganzen Tiere vorgestellt . Wir durften uns einen Platz aussuchen und konnten dort ungestört den Nachmittag verbringen. So einen tollen Stellplatz , haben wir lange nicht gehabt . Ruhig vom Straßenlärm . Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Immer wieder , würden wir diesen Platz mit Freude aufsuchen .

Went to customer service, they were busy with a long line, decided to go elsewhere for the night.

Nice spot on the cliffs. Quiet with great views. Bimmah beach was too busy.

A great spot to watch the sunset and sunrise . Just off the highway but far enough that it is very quiet. Even saw some bear tracks. Very cozy

Good place to spend a day while visiting the city of Chardigarh. The night was a bit noisy but it was the last night of the year, probably a normal day it is not so noisy there are toilets but they were not available when we were there, there is also a "drinking" water point.

there are many birds, deers, monkeys and also some leopards. but dont be scared they are more afraid of you and dont attack ;)
there is also a kind of temple, please respect this and be kindful to the prayers, than its not a problem to stay here.

The road is still closed, from this point to Wadi Al Ala. Only usable for motorbikes but at own risk.

If you are coming from Mamou, you have to drive a bit further than the location indicates to find a small road on your left. You can find several spots hidden from the road. Not the most beautiful place, but convenient of one night.

I found the sign "singer night stay is permitted" so I will stay here for a night.

Cheap and basic "locals style" place. Paid 10k. Room was big but tatty, bed was clean and fine, there was surprisingly good hot water (in room 9, as I suspect this might not be the case in every room) for a shower, but the toilet was a squatter and the flush wasn't working. Electricity seemed to be switched off in the afternoon for some reason. Quite loud due to location. Fine for one night and a bike cleaning session.

Like described, beautiful views! Quite a bit of trash though so be warned. Some people came by in the evening and the morning but just said hi and kept to themselves. Very quiet night.

Easy access from 74 and 60. Very very very laid back campground...no designated checkout time, pet waste pick up not enforced nor is no smoking in bathhouse. All 3 bathrooms are really quite nasty...no toilet paper, cigarette butts in sink and haven't been cleaned in days if not longer. Restroom on far right (photo attached) floor looks like it will cavein any day to first floor. Not ADA safe. Located on the Nottley River which is controlled by the TVA and no swimming is allowed. T-Mobile coverage spotty throughout most of Murphy, NC but this could be due to recent ice-storms. This campground does offer a 10% military discount. Very level concrete slab pads, picnic tables, 50&30 amp, great water and a fire pits at each campsite.

This support point for RVs opened in December 2022. We were the second to use it. In the center of the area there is a small kiosk with several taps and 110V and 220V power points. Next to it is the Park Concierge with 24-hour security. We pay R$ 25.00/night per vehicle. It is necessary to deposit the amount corresponding to the intended days into the Instituto Agua e Terra account at the Banco do Brasil branch in the city of Tibagi-PR. To make it easier, follow the account number: Ag 3793-1 Account 9278-9.
