Added note. We had about 4 days left on our S.A. visa after spending 30days of S.A.s 90day limit in Mozambiquie (Canada Passports). Upon reentering S.A. they gave us an additional 90days no questions asked!
*might not always work, but I said nothing and they just gave us 90 more days.

Excellent Verizon service though the entire grasslands. Great fishing spots. Miles of off roading trails for any OHV. Point of rocks is a must see if your anywhere in the area.

Very pleased. Was looking for a tent site because, in my van, I don’t need water or electric. But I got there at 7:30 and I just couldn’t find that section of the park. So I camped at a elec/water site - number 5 - and was very happy. Very quiet. And free hot showers, flush toilets. Next day I explained to ranger that I couldn’t find the tent sites and so I parked at an RV site and didn’t use any elec and water so I only paid $14. The place was very empty.

Hung out in the far entrance and parked amongst the RVs. There were some cars campers as well. It was a quiet stay overnight and would stay again. Felt safe and secure with the bright lights, music, and many RVs in the area.

Insanely SLOW internet. 1.5mbs. Couldn’t even get speedtest.net to connect. Had to use Fast.com. Trying to get email to download timed out on me. But, it’s free and has power to charge your laptop or whatever. Clean bathrooms and water station to refill a reusable bottle.

This is a great place to stay for the night! Clean restrooms in my experience and a dog park. A little noisy from trucks and highway but not too bad.

We got a knock at 3am from a security guard telling us we can't stay there. We have also stayed here in the past and never had a problem before this. This spot is definitely a gamble.

BOT-ZIM
Checking out of Botswana took 10 min. Fill out form and have the Carnet stamped and then a quick drive across to Zim side

At Zim. Show vaccination paper outside the building. Fill out form. Paid $45 for double entry visa. Some manual work to fill out the visa sticker, that took some time. Then stamp Carnet. Pay $50 for insurance and tax. Then customs check of the car and finally some booths that wanted to double check everything. Took just over an hour altogether.

Very good place to camp. Sea on one side and lagoon on the other. White sand, restaurant and bar, sparkling pool. Power points at sights. Tides affect access to the camp.

There was a gate that was open. Don't know if it's open all the time but you'll see the rock hill and that there is a bit of na in-between spot. If you can push your bike back a little you can find a spot or two that's partially protected from the wind. I had to clear out a spot which was a pain but it was a beautiful camp spot and a nice little to some nice views of the area on the ridge

Got some water here. There is a spigot by the gas pumps that has potable water and is a lifesaver as a cyclist. Nice guy inside

Very nice hostel. Quite economic at 2500 for a double room (with two people) with private bathroom. It was also possible to eat there if it was arranged a bit in advance. We had a nice dinner for two people and a small breakfast for 1400 pesos.

Excelente local para parar e pernoitar. Atendimento muito receptivo. Melhor que ficar no Hotel Leones que fica em frente.

Very well maintained small campsites in Centennial park, close to general store. Non potable water hand pump. Free stay for three days and free firewood. Very clean pit toilets. Garbage bins and recycling bin. Some road noise and noise from the mill, but gets pretty quiet later into the night. A couple of short walks/hikes nearby, just ask Archie!

Nicest spot for summer heat and seclusion but is quickly being ruined by people leaving trash and vandalizing. There were used condoms and beer cans everywhere. With broken glass all over to top it off. Picked up everything I saw. Someone stopped and let me know it’s his private land but he doesn’t mind me staying as long as I’m not leaving trash and spray painting. Not looking like a partier is probably the best way to be allowed to stay. I was able to get pretty level, minimal Verizon coverage, would send texts but nothing else. The tree coverage helps it stay pretty cool. There are a couple climbing routes right near here so if you climb that’s nearby too!

Stayed one night here and enjoyed it, didn't encounter any wildlife or hear coyotes. Wasn't crowded and pull offs are large enough to accommodate multiple rigs comfortably. Wind can be a fickle beast here. No amenities.

Thanks for the park, would recommend and could see myself staying longer in the future.

O local é ruim de chegar pois o asfalto está muito esburacado, porém é muito tranquiloo para passar o dia.

Conversamos com as pessoas do bairro e elas disseram que é seguro.

Great little farmhouse for coffee or lunch. A beautifully set garden, where you can enjoy homemade pies, cookies, biltong salads or buy some of the locally produced jams in their little shop.
