In a national wildlife refuge, room for tent or RV, dry bathrooms, and a shelter with tables. Not too far from the highway but hidden so pretty quiet! There are also a few trails/walks and lots of birds in a pond!

Lovely place along the Alaska Hwy to stop for lunch. Large gazebo with picnic tables, pit toilets, small pond, short trail. sweet. thanks Overlander. we would have missed it.
Report Check-InWe camped in the parking area - not a designated camping site, although the registration forms (at the information sign) allow for daytime use (D) or camping (C). The site has a pit toilet, bear proof trash cans, a shelter with picknick tables and one BBQ (with ample firewood). The advantage: we were the only ones here (apart from an army of mosquitoes in the shelter and BBQ).
Report Check-InLovely place, you can even reach it in winter. Nice spot close to the lake.
Report Check-InNot a campground. Only a historic Alaska roadhouse location for day use only. Probably no enforcement if you overnight. Trails, ponds, lookouts, and interpretation. Likely very buggy during wet and warm weather.
