There was a gate that was open. Don't know if it's open all the time but you'll see the rock hill and that there is a bit of an in-between spot. If you can push your bike back a little you can find a spot or two that's partially protected from the wind. I had to clear out a spot which was a pain but it was a beautiful camp spot and a nice little walk to some nice views of the area on the ridge
