Very expensive, even more than the camping in Cafayate (we tought it was the most expensive until this one) : 700$ pp (above 5 year) + 150$ for the vehicle.
But very clean, hot (!) showers between 17:00 and 22:00, clean toilets with seating boards (!). No wifi. Little playground for kids.
There are serpents.

Great spot to crash camp for the night. Park in the back lot on the south side of the visitor center. You will know it is the visitor center because of the large well lit atrium dedicated to the Virgin Mary. If you pull into the back the lights will not be bad at all. Quiet and felt safe. Did have cell service at this site.

nice dead-end mostly flat spot along opequon creek. seems like a local dumping spot. there is a house up the hill overlooking the road, but still felt private. stayed here one night in our lifted ford ecoline with our cat and dog. they had space to run around, but there are a ton of no trespassing signs on the property alongside the road. theres a little trail that leads down to the creek spot. cows grazing across the creek and lots of geese in the creek.

Tons of space all around this area to find a little nook for yourself. Trees and sunshine and fire pits (probably no fires allowed though currently April 2022). Peaceful, quiet night. Would stay again.

High clearance required but not 4WD. I made it fine in my 2005 2WD Sprinter. Do not enter if it has recently rained or if likely to rain.

Gate to enter is across from the other dispersed camping location across the street. Remember to leave the gate as you found it (closed, generally).

Beautiful private spot in a little canyon with striped grey and white formations. Very intermittent Verizon. No facilities. A little shooting debris but looks old. Some cows.

Please take a few extra pieces of trash when you go. I suspect we're a crowd that's likely to do that, so my hope is we leave it better than we found it.

Lovely large spot with panoramic views across the flood plain. Hippos everywhere. Baboons in the tree above camp so just be careful. This and number 1 site are the best. Remember to book- don’t just turn up from the South Gate and pitch up. Someone will have booked it it’s unfair to do so. Also don’t ask to share - again unfair if someone has booked it and with no facilities you need some privacy!!

Shores CG in BLM land. These are FREE public lands, 14 day camping limit. Take the road to the left if you do not have high clearance, the right has a deep washout, but both have great sites. Nice, shady designated, not dispersed, sites by the Gila River. Pretty spot except for areas around empty trash bins which were surrounded by large black garbage bags where people have dumped bags, instead of filling the bins and the animals have ripped them open and the contents have blown everywhere., Yes, the trash cans at two locations are clean and empty with new garbage bags. People are just lazy. We picked up a lot of stuff over 2 days and packed the bins but there is too much today. A lot of sites are trashed with what looks like last week’s Easter parties. If you walk, please take a bag and pick up something to help us out.

A few roaming, gypsy cows were wading in the water, a lot of green vegetation. Near road 77 but few cars pass by. Vault toilets are also very clean.

The following morning, the trash mounds were miraculously picked up. Thank you, BLM! Give them a raise! The day we left, the cg is impeccably clean! Beautiful! It went from being one of the trashiest cgs to being one of the cleanest!

Great free spot. Beautiful view of lake. Got in with my minivan no problem but roads are rutted in spots and further in. Tmobile 2-3 bars but not much internet.

Nice Place in front of the park. The park is big, nice place to practice yoga or have a picnic. Quite at night. We felt safe.

Exactly as it's described. We arrived at 8h30 and left all the border stuff at 11. Honduras it was made in 15minutes, you need to go in Nicaragua first so they can accepted you --> covid pcr check, be careful with the place you do the test (pharmacie del ahorro it's okay).
They give you a paper keep it until almost the end. Made the registration for the Salida in Honduras, the man in orange take the paper at the border. After that you can "choose" the order, we went first to pay the fumigation (4,40$) at the right, then we tried to catch the lady of the aduana, after 10min, you choose to go the immigration, ask lots of question, they check really well the hotel, like where it is etc..., paid 13$ per person.
they were a crash btw 2 camiones when we were there so it was a little messy too. Find a guy from the aduana, give us a form to fill, the one for enter Nicaragua. After that, the policies sign the paper, write something on it and for the end at this location, you need to go the aduana for the véhiculo turismo, she asked all the paper (license, car registration, passport). After 10 min when she made the registration of our van, it was done. We had almost finish, take the car, drive like 2minutes and it's time for insurance, you give the 2 form entry and the little white paper of the immigration, you paid 12$ and its done you can fly away. Really it's was strefull but everything in a way was really smooth, you just have to keep in made to be patient. Enjoy Nicaragua !

This is a pull off that is lake front on Lake Hartwell. I spent 2 nights here and it was very quiet. People come to fish and thats about it. If you like to fish, this is the spot for you! Beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the lake. FREE spot to park your vehicle and sleep overnight. My van is far from stealthy and no one bothered me. The view is amazing! Great place to stop for the night if you're in the area. Campground is right down the road, the pull off is on the right side of the road and you will see a drainage pipe sticking out of the bank if you're in the right spot. Enjoy!

Armenia to Iran:
We heard different information of a PCR Test is needed to enter Iran. We have not been asked to show a PCR test.

For us it took longer to get out of Armenia then getting into Iran. All in all 2,5 hours on a Thursday morning.

When entering the Passenger Hall (Iranian side) to have your passport stemped, there was a guy sitting right behind the entrance. I don't think he is an official guy but he wanted to sell health insurance and let us only go after checking that we have an insurance.

This dump is part of the campground even though it’s not located in the campground. You pass a paying booth before getting to the dump station. $7 for all day use. Nice dump area with 2 pull in options & water with hose.

We paid $35 for a site. No water or electric at site. Bathrooms didn’t have electricity or any lights on at the time we were there. Not the best deal for the price, but we were excited to camp with the redwoods. Really nice staff (Annie and Sindee). Go on the hike to the old growth redwood—it’s worth it.

Nice guest house 2 min walk from Playa Negra and 10 min walk to Cahuita. We also walked to the national park. Large secured parking space. Good wifi everywhere. Nice garden. Hamacs on second floor balcony to relax. Very good breakfast included. Lots of restaurants in Cahuita. No kitchen to cook but mini fridge in the hallway. They have only 5 or 6 rooms, some with private bathrooms and some with a shared bathroom. We paid $45Usd through booking.com for a room with shared bathroom. Not a budget price but a reasonable one if you want to stop and relax for a night or two.

Large parking lot. Saw two other rigs staying there. There are lots of really nice walking trails to the right! Waterfall park is over there, and of you hang right at the roundabout the trails go for at least a mile.

This family tun business gives exceptional service that I have never seen from a mechanic.
My brakes in our Sprinter overheated coming down a hill and they met me at the casino parking lot to diagnose the problem. This was on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
They ordered the parts required, since it was Easter weekend it took couple days, but it was if they stopped all other work to make sure we were looked after as soon as the parts arrived.
Their price was very fair and they are all about taking care of their customers.
