Argentina
*Overnight camping/parking is NOT available at this location.
.....
2.11.23- overnight prohibited.

Parking lot at entrance of Ischigualasto. Very quiet at night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The campsite is still closed because of the cougar. At the moment there is therefore no possibility to stay overnight here. On the parking lot at the entrance is anyway forbidden to stay overnight. This is big signposted.
-----------
The park is very good for those who enjoy history, but I thought the fees were unfair.
For Argentines, entry costs 1500 pesos, for Brazilians the price goes up to 5,000 (5 thousand)
The campsite is small, but you can sleep peacefully, the showers are only open at night, from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am and there is no water at the campsite. You have to make do with the bathroom sink, which is far from the campsite.
Report Check-InI visitet this place in wintertime and stayed over night, very windy and cold but fantástic experience in participating the tour.
Report Check-InAdmission $2,500 pesos per person. It is only allowed with a guide and you do it in your own car. 40 km in 03 hours on average. We did the 14:30. It takes a while to get to the cafeteria, so take plenty of hydration. And visit the museum, which is really cool😉

Report Check-InThere are signs no that say you can not spent the night here. Use the official campsite, it is nice and very cheap (300 pesos pp).
Report Check-InSuper park. 800PP per person for the tour. It lasts 3 hours and you do it with your car. There is a restaurant where to eat, craft stand with rodicrosite stones really cheap and super beautiful! There is also a campsite with showers in the toilet. It was written from 20h but we were able to take them at 6 pm after asking the lady or we buy tickets. Hot and clean. The turn is really cool and a guide is there to explain to you, it was really superb and worth the visit! (The last visit of the day is at 2pm, you have to be at 1:50 pm in front and bought its ticket (50m after parking))
super parc.
Report Check-InWe asked if we could stay the night. Because we are not self-sufficient, they said no and offered the camping site. Very friendly and courteous staff.
Report Check-InCouldn't stay at the parking lot, we had to go to the camping inside the park. The rangers are really nice. The shower hot and perfectly clean. However the camping is not that nice, gravel... but you can do a bbq, have picnic table and electricity
Report Check-InWe came late and the gate was closed. We stayed 2 nights at the parking lot, nobody bothered us. After a heavy thunderstorm with a lot of lightning, we had a quiet night, but the next day the park was closed because of the heavy rain the night before.
WiFi was open and worked good.
After the visit we asked to the reception lady if we could sleep in the parking lot and she nicely said that we had to go in the paying camping place. I guess it depends on who you ask to and maybe if it’s high season like for us?
Report Check-InSlept here one night. Very flat, beautiful view, but they didn't turn off the light a night.
We saw lot of wildlife - guanacos, fox, birds...- on the evening.
Very quiet night bur we had a huge storm with heavy rain.
The rangers allowed us to shower (hot and with very good pressure).
First: fee for the park 450 Pesos /Person. guided tour in your own vehicle. no buses available. The ranger goes in the first car. opening summer 08 a.m until 5 p.m.
overnight parking on the large parking lot allowed!!
showers inside the bathrooms open with very hot water.
restaurant available.
Confirm all comments below. Had a lovely quiet night here after visiting the park.
Report Check-InWe stayed at the parking lot with no problem at all. Ee asked at the main entrance if we could stay at night and they said it was not problem.
Public toilets are inside but are opened the whole night and what is better they do have showers. Best hot shower ever in the whole trip. For free. Nobody ask you anyrhi g if you go sttaight to the toilet. Night time was very cold.
We stayed 2 nights in the car park with no one saying nothing, probably because of low season. First night with a couple of other big rigs, a camper bus and a van, next night alone with the zorros. Wonderful free museum, spent hours with the kids reading everything. Friendly staff and beautiful tour in the park. 450/pers kids above 6 included but not checking who actually is in the vehicle.
Report Check-InIt’s a huge parking lot. We spend 2 nights here, no one said anything. We wasn’t the only one to camp here. Very quiet at night, in the morning you can hear the tourists buses coming, but nothing else. If you park next to the office you can get good WiFi. We used the toilet of the park, no one said anything either. Very good spot !
Report Check-InToday we were not allowed to sray at the parking lot, we were told, at the entrance that we have to use the new campsite (200 pppn no cover for the vehicle, fair price because you get hot and clean shdower, free wifi, electricity... really good !)
