We will go here again! beautiful place. With cute creeks. Wouldn’t say it was “amazing” but it’ll do :)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
the cave is a nice touch. the bats really clear out the bugs over night.(;
Report Check-InIt is kinda hard to find. When you come to the intersection; there will be a parking area to the right. Drive past that and turn left at the first left. Drive a little way and you will go over the creek. Drive past the creek and the area will be in your left a few hundred feet. It has tables and a camping rings for 2 boondockers. Sign posted that the cave is closed. We walked down towards the cave and the temperature changed drastically. Super cool place to explore. We walked up and down the creek beds finding cool rocks. This will definitely be a future stop again. Very very pretty. Being august it is very humid. No one else is here. 3 spots. 1 would be for tent only.
Report Check-InNot really well marked, turn west and head back towards the creek. Cross over the creek and there is a campsite for 3 or so vehicles. We were the only ones there though.
Report Check-InVery small pull offs on both sides of the road. The rocky creek-way is super cute. We’re here for the evening, I’ll check back in the morning and let y’all know how it went!
