Dead at a bridge that was torn down 35 years ago. Quiet. Some garbage in the East side of the bridge. Great place to stay for a night. The is a turnaround 150ft front the old bridge on the east side

A bit sketch at night. Posted signs around me but I think it’s for the land on the side of the road?? Surely someone can’t own the road itself…
Report Check-InStayed the night here in our transit. Was very nice, woke up to it snowing in the AM
Report Check-InAs others said, definitely some trash but beautiful spot with river access. Between zero and one bars with very slow LTE if any on T-Mobile.
I stayed 2 nights. The morning after the first, a car showed up and immediately turned around. I tried to flag them down to let them know I was leaving soon but they sped off. Maybe they were gonna dumb trash, idk. Then a truck for an arborist came by, and turned around. As I left about 20 mins later I saw they had been sitting in their truck a little up the road, presumably waiting on me to leave or something. Came back later, a couple pulled up and viewed the river with me for a few minutes and left. I stayed the night again and the next morning I heard a car come and immediately leave again.
Seems like a spot well known by locals. For good reason, it’s gorgeous at sunset, minus the trash.
Report Check-InIt was everything the previous reviews said. End of the road, trashy, but there was room for us to set up a tent to camp. No problems overnight, just a few noises from nearby roads. There are a lot of “no trespassing” signs on the way in, but I think that meant the properties alongside the roads. Fell asleep to the sounds of the flowing water and woke up to the faint sound of a rooster and a couple of early birds chatting. The location points to a driveway but just park past the rock pile at the dead end. A few people came for the creek, but no one bothered us. We set up a hammock after following the trail down and right. Cracked open a cold one. Pure bliss. Enjoy!
Report Check-Innice dead-end mostly flat spot along opequon creek. seems like a local dumping spot. there is a house up the hill overlooking the road, but still felt private. stayed here one night in our lifted ford ecoline with our cat and dog. they had space to run around, but there are a ton of no trespassing signs on the property alongside the road. theres a little trail that leads down to the creek spot. cows grazing across the creek and lots of geese in the creek.
Report Check-InDefinitely a bit of trash on the ground but once you look past that it’s a gorgeous little spot. Very quite dead end road but the best part is getting to listen to the river babble all night. I stayed overnight and had no problems, houses farther up to road look nice nothing to sketchy
Report Check-InNot a fan of the vibe arriving at night. Tough turnaround, make sure to turn around at the driveway. Probably a fine area but I didn’t like it so I moved on.
Report Check-InQuiet dead end spot with a cool river ahead. Seems to be lots of trash but still a nice spot for a night. We had an e150 and a Ford transit extended and had no issues or knocks.
