No real area for vans to overnight. The back lot is all laid out for big trucks. We're just in the parking lot with cars stopping in for convenience stuff. |

UPDATE: This place is small as truck stops go, and had no real space for a van campers. We talked to them and they said we could stay there but it seems really sketch so we moved to the Walmart and had a much better experience. |

It's a gravel parking lot with a nice view over looking the town of Truro. There's a trail that leads to the waterfall as well. This parking lot is another excess to Victoria Park. There's a washroom but it's closed for the season now in November. There's no sign for no overnight parking. Fairly dark and quiet at night. Although, a few vehicles pull in and out at night, maybe it's busier in the weekend but not nearly as busy as the main parking lot. Good place to spend a night with a view and nice hiking trail in the morning to walk the dog. |

very high end shower. this is the first time I've seen a truck stop shower that is nicer than flying J. A little pricey but I highly recommend it. It's like being in 4 stars hotel shower. Very nice and clean. It's good to treat yourself with nice decent shower once in awhile after having to shower at many sketchy truck stop showers. Price is $11.50 tax included, towels are included also. Absolutely love the big rain shower head. That's still $2 cheaper than flying J. |

We wanted to see turtles but there is no sanctuary here anymore. The only campground in esterilles is this one. No problem to park with our 24ft camper. Large square with grass. Electricity does not go everywhere, showering and toilet, as everywhere, very easy. Very nice beach. Quiet and safe |

Basic camp site on the rim of the crater.. When we camped here there were a few safari companies with guests as well.. I believe this site can get busy as it is the most popular site because of the view. As you drive into the camp most of the safari companies camp on the right side but we found a great quiet spot with direct view on the crater. When you enter the site continue with the road and it will take you around a big tree to the left hand side of the camp.. There is a nice big tree next to the ablution block.. The ablution facilities are however not great at all.. All the drains for the showers in the ladies bathroom was blocked and when i advised the caretaker he just shrugged his shoulders.. Definitely not worth the money you pay for but I guess the view should make up for it 😉 Cost to enter Ngorongoro

Definitely not quiet on a Saturday night. Music drifting in from the nearby restaurants/clubs/venues will keep you awake. Free overnight parking though with public restrooms nearby in the park. |

Lots of large meadows in the national park and right at the base of the trailhead. No facilities other than a well for water and a few covered picnic benches, but in season there are guesthouses and some restaurants. Amazing views. We were here in November for 2 nights, met the local shepherd who gave us some hiking tips |

Nice place but too expensive. 400 Pesos for parking on a dirt field of meadow. Showers with just cold water. Wifi signal is just in the restaurant. The water in the pool was clear but lots of leaves, bugs, bees were on the surface. Unfriendly employees over all. Food in the restaurant was ok. |

Really nice and quiet spot out in the woods. Make sure your GPS takes you to the right spot - there is a dead end road that terminates 1/4 mile from this spot that is not ok to camp on, and Google Maps took us there first. Double checked and got here by our own reckoning. Great Verizon service. |

Nice spot to sleep when exploring the area. You certainly here the highway and are easily seen from all directions but it it quite at night and beautiful being surrounded by water. We stayed 2 nights as we explored Baddeck and Sydney for supplies before heading up the Calbot Trail.

We stayed here for one night, site #104. No one else around. $10 a night , close to a road but only 2 cars and a ranger went by. Very quiet and dark. Sites are pretty far apart. Sounds of a small stream. A lot of hiking trails in the forest. Stop at Forest headquarters for maps and trail info at an outdoor kiosk. Also, walk in sites along a river but the river has to be crossed. |
