Description

Great pullout from a dirt forestry road. This is a spur off to the left and above the road on the map (Seymour Creek road 9N-04). Fire ring has been built. Excellent distance views of the valley, some shade. Good LTE coverage from Verizon. Bear country, so be careful with your food. Very little to no drive by traffic
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

nice quiet spot, two cars passed by while we stayed for two nights. Quite a lot of wind from 1pm to 8pm. Verizon 4G was usable, AT&T reception was not good enough.

Good spot for the night. Arrived at dark left by 7:15. Wasn’t able to get down the dirt road in my Honda Accord so I stayed in the upper lot which is quite large and still a ways off the road. Had 1 bar functional but not fast LTE with AT&T. Found a nice level spot. Quiet and undisturbed night, would def stay here again.

Two fire pits off the main lot, one on the lower level and another bigger one if you hike up the path a bit on top of the hill.

Saw a bear 10 mins from campsite on the drive in. Careful with your food.

Nice little dirt road pull off. Came on a Monday and nobody was here. Few fire rings! T-Mobile service worked. Forest camping, be careful for bears!

Lots of campers around this area as it is the weekend. Road is pretty rough once you turn off the pavement and you definitely need some decent clearance, but I managed it without kicking on 4WD. A few fire rings and several large spaces.

Service comes and goes with t-mobile. Site big enough for multiple vehicles. Road in is a little rocky/washed out and steep. We used
4wheel just to be sure. Some annoying Flys. Nice breeze all day.

Excellent spot to post and work from in the van. Great verizon service. nice views.

Amazing flat spot up on top of the mountain. As described, well maintained paved road up entire mountain and the last 0.4mi is dirt but doable in most vehicles. There are a few pull offs of the paved rd on the way up and then there are a few other spots off the dirt spur rd you take to get here. Fun Spot! 3 bars 4G LTE Verizon with decent speeds.

I agree that that the first turn in is the most difficult. I took the right track in with my Promaster but opted to make my own track through the trees on the way out and it was much better! Stayed two nights alone on a Thurs and Fri night. I was surprised at the amount of trash and toilet paper strewn about but overall had a peaceful stay here.

Report Check-In

Stayed for 5 nights. Some drive by traffic and dirt bikers, especially on the weekend but very peaceful and good cell coverage. I made it w 2wd. The turn off from the main road is hands down the hardest part.

great view and a beautiful location. spent one night but coming back for more.

there are a few decent spots on this road. I only saw 3 cars go by on a spring Saturday-sunday am and didn't see any other campers. road was fine for 2WD but I would recommend a bit of clearance.
