Disappointed by the food, service and price. Vegan tacos were grated vegetables in a leaf of lettuce, burger had 5 chips with it. Not recommending to come here.

Very nice quiet CG. Very few people during the week. Washboard rd getting in from the pavement but if you find the right speed it’s not too bad.
Sprinter 4x4 with lift. Never had to use 4x4.

We arrived late under heavy rain and wind. It was a beautiful surprise to see what it looked like in the morning. Nobody came to bother us.

previous 2 comments are a bit confusing. there is a car park for Fort George where you pay and yes, there is a sign for no overnight parking.

on the next right is a bus park. there is a tourist info place here too, but really it is the bus/coach park for NOTL. there are no signs that say you cannot park overnight here. we stayed in mid Nov in our TT with no issues, tourist info and Fort closed for season. we used the bus/rv parking at the Fort during day then moved into the bus park after dark, then moved back into the paid parking section early the next day and again walked and enjoyed the area from there.

I would, however, be hesitant to stay here during busier times of the year, if that was the case I would find a park employee and ask if ok.

Warning: the road to get here is dirt and can get very muddy. They no longer offer camping but only cabanas. We arrived asking for a place to camp since we found out about this spot on iOverlander and were introduced to a few people before Eeba! She is so kind and gave us a spot to camp under her palm hut for 300 pesos.

It’s a really beautiful place but a little confusing to figure out with little Spanish. You might be best in the surfing area just north in Saladita. We were planning to go there but the road was under construction.

We pulled in to these services because there was a camping symbol. Ställplas Bengt I Orkelljunga kindly let us put up our tent. We didn't use power and there are no facilities so they let us stay for free. It's great if you get caught in the dark like us without anywhere organised to stay. Lots of food options around to walk to.

We had the place all to ourselves. Easy to find. The oilfield flares were a bit surreal but otherwise very peaceful and quiet.

Nice spot after driving trough Chobe. Refreshing dip in the swimmingpool, great view from the campsites and the deck. Even a little shop at the reception with snacks, wood, canned food and cold drinks.

Fenced, so a relaxed evening staying up after dark :)

500 Pesos per night for 30ft RV, didn’t want to negotiate with us. We didn’t stay.

RV park in Gila Bend with large sites, tent area, showers and laundry. Propane available.

You can fill your clean water tank if you fill your gas tank.

O Camping está localizado bem perto da Praia de Itapuã. Fornece água, luz, banheiros, chuveiro quente e cozinha compartilhada. O casal Paulo e Juliana são muito receptivos.

Decent camping in NFS campground. Now open. Still $10 or $5 for Golden Eagle passholders. Got the last site tonight. other opportunities in the area were slim or sketch.

very dark and quiet, nice spot to park for the night but not big enough place to walk a dog.

several rv parks on hwy 80 out of Benson and several on main Street in town. This one is 1000trails and RPI. well cared for park with full hook ups for any size rig. Nice restrooms, laundry and pool. $41 a night, cash only for non reservations. hwy and trains are heard every where in Benson but not bad here.

Stayed three nights behind the radio station and it was no issue beside walking to the porta-John. Wifi isn’t great and it’s about a 30 minute walk into town. The restaurant is a poke stop.

We were able to extend our Canadian motorcycle permits here. Took one day for paperwork. No cost, first six months in Greece are free.

Mini Oasis in the middle of the desert. Beautiful little area. You will need 4Wheel drive or a traveling companion with 4Wheel drive as the sand is deep & difficult to drive in, in a two wheel vehicle. Note: Even if you have 4 wheel drive if you’re not careful you may sink.

not suitable for tents, had police knocking on mine at 1am, luckily they let me stay until morning. could get away with it with a stealth camp and if you go up the road a bit

Amazing camp site outside the park... Richard has put so much time and effort into making this camp site an amazing place for campers.. In comparison to what you pay and get inside the park, this camp site is waaay better.. Richard also does private tours inside the park.. Amazing ablution facilities with warm water and western toilets.. Kitchen area to make food and we were able to run our extension cord to the restaurant area for power. Absolutely LOVED this place.. When you are there, ask Richard what the name of his camp site means 😊 we paid USD10 pppn

Camping libre. Lugar tranquilo fuera de remporada. Bastante gente en el día, tranquilo a la noche. Solo se puede acceder caminando y empujando las bicis. Mucho lugar para la carpa. Hay señal píblica y libre de wifi.

very quiet night on a thurs...camped at the top right... no one else around. site had an apparent fire ring but there was a bit of trash left around... good overnight spot

There is free wifi here! It’s an Indian restaurant with large parking lot and a drive thru. The wifi reaches the parking lot (it’s located in an antique city bus) The network is “Netgear”

Nice clean place, good beer, laundry! Easy access, in town. Close from the market where you can pass the evening.
