Description

We stayed at site #7 which is directly next to #8 (same pull off), but even being that close, it’s sooo private. You have your own walk down area with a very nice fire ring. Easy to get to with 2WD, and one of my favorite places we’ve ever stayed. It felt like Yosemite on one side and canyonlands on the other, and you’re sandwiched right between. Our pup loved it. There were also bear prints along the road, and stunning sunrises. Depending on where I stood, I had a few bars of ATT service. I’d say I MOSTLY had service, but when we sat by the fire it would sometimes go out. Very cold in the morning and at night, but fine in sunlight. There are eight camping sites on the map on the way in. These two are the farthest in, and share a pull off (but still very private individually).

Wonderful spot with views of Pine Valley Mountain. Quiet with the Leeds Creek in the background. A fair amount of trash we picked up. Please keep it clean. Number 7 collects rain runoff so be wise if you’re there during a heavy rain.

Stayed a night at #7. #8 is bigger and more level but it was occupied.
I had decent cell service with Verizon. Enough to stream some Netflix.
