iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
Big parking area and bus terminal of Midyat city. There is a park next to the parking with a tea house and toilet. Toilets for 1 Lira as long the teahouse is open (probably until midnight and morning starting at 8). There is water available too, we could use the hose from guys cleaning a minibus.
There is some traffic at the park lot, buses and trucks,during the evening, but it was quiet at night. We felt safe, some people around but nobody bothered us. There is a guard at the house at the entrance, we asked him for stay overnight, no problem, for free.
The old town of Midyat is beautiful, climb the tower of the mueseum for sunset. The city is quite touristic and the old town is renovated.
