Nobody spoke English but Visa extension for 30 extra days was easy to explain and cost 500 000, we gave cash and a local paid for us with a card. Everything which was needed as previous descriptions. But it took us 2 days and 3 visits to the office because their servers were constantly down. Leave all your electronics to the car if you don't want to check them in with the security guards. Other than that pretty straight forward.

It’s a good place to spend the night if visiting the National park. Great views of Torres Del Paine across the lake and if the sunrise is good, perfect very nice lighting on the towers. The southern wind shelter smells like pee, however. Can we all just do our ‘business’ further away please?

The price is now 500 pesos. no water to fill pir tank and no electricity. For 250 pesos more, we could have had a room at the hotel.

they go on boat trips. you can choose between the morning or afternoon tour or both. we chose both and paid 300 pp. lunch, coffee and snaks are included. We saw many birds, jacares and we were lucky enough to see an anaconda. During the tour , they make a stop and you can swim in the river. On the way to come here there is a Mirador tower, officially closed, but you can climb it, don't miss to stop, breathtaking view of the pantanal.

_____
Exit from CR
1) Go to the Aduana (large blue-grey building) to close the vehicle import permit. You must have a copy of the closed TIP. They give us a small piece of paper. Save it for later.
2) Go pay the CR exit tax or show proof of payment online (we did it the day before. Super easy).
3) Go to immigration to get stamps in passports.
4) Get out of the CR: they ask us for the little piece of paper and the copy of the closed TIP.
Entry to Nicaragua:
Make the prechequeo online up to 7 days in advance.
1) Go to blue tower for COVID check. Show proof of vaccination with passports. They will give you the Aduana form to fill out.
2) Go through the fumigation.
3) Go to immigration to get the stamp in the passports (13 USD/passport). They put papers in the passports. Keep for leaving the country.
4) Go to the tourist office to pay the taxa de rodaje. Rather random. We paid 15 USD for our 24 foot motorhome. Keep the receipt given to you.
5) Find the inspector to check your vehicle. Obtain his signature on your Aduana form.
6) Find the police officer and get his signature on your Aduana form. They will need a copy of your driver's license, vehicle title and driver's passport. He is also the one who decides if he sends you to the scanner or not.
7) Pay for fumigation at the IPSA window (3 USD).
8) Return to Aduana with the form signed by all stakeholders. They then print your vehicle import permit.
9) Leaving customs by vehicle, find an insurance salesperson. They are mandatory. $12 for 1 month.

Great company ! We came late in the afternoon and could sleep next to their house in a football field. In the morning we had a nice breakfast and then started the hike.
We advise you to rent some gloves and stick. Your hands and knees will thank you ;)
Payed 400Q per person.
We could even had a hot shower after the hike.
Thanks again to them !

Still a great, busy hike. Unfortunately, if you want to go from El Pilar, it’s now closed to the public. But you can start about 1km further at the Rio Eléctrica bridge, there is a big wooden sign indicating the start of the trial. It adds about 1km to the hike. But it’s pretty flat an easy. This section of the trial is also a lot quieter in peak season. Recommend if you have your own vehicle.

Beautiful. however, my RV broke down (won't go into gear) so I'm kind of stranded here because no mechanics near by. Hopefully get something figured out in the next couple days.

Good ferry from Cabinda to Soyo (3h) or Luanda (10h / 20 000 kwz). I didn't pay anything for the bike. Better to get the ticket the day before the departure. They ask for the visa and a COVID certificate. Did Cabinda / Luanda on Monday, and there is Luanda / Cabinda on Friday. They serve food on the boat (included). Very pleasant staff.

I spend four peaceful nights here, hot showers at 500 pesos. Food is not that good in the restaurant. Safe place to stay overnight near Bariloche. The area is very big and trucks used to stay here also.

me robaron 2 semanas consecutivas. Me robaron mi jarro favorito.

Very quiet and safe place, and very close to the city center - we left the car here and did everything on foot. Still 25 Bolivians per person. It is actually a very large yard where the family rents parking spaces. Clean and super new bathroom with hot shower.
_________

It is a nice place, I stayed with my family in the Rv park, surrounded by nature and nice people. It´s an affordable place, with useful and functional amenities, the staff is very friendly and if you want to spend a season working from a quiet place, Roca Azul is the place because it has excellent internet.

We wanted to stay for two nights and ended up staying 10 days! It is a lovely place and the owners put a lot of effort into this place. The cappuccino and the cheese cake are amazing and the wifi worked very well for us. We did not encounter any aggressive dogs, it seems like they have the dog situation under control now. We love this place a lot!

This is an established recreation site campground. Picnic tables and pit toilets. There is normally a camp host staying here from May to The end of September.but there wasn't one in the summer of 22. I believe they charge $15 a night, but I could be wrong. I live here, so have never camped here. It is a popular spot all during the summers. Snowed in during the winter.
