Canadian Crown Land so rules pertain to that. Gravel road heads into the woods with clear patches to park and turn a van around..

next to highway 50, nicer level pullover spot in the woods. just stopped here during the day, can definitely hear the traffic. concrete/metal fire spot, plenty downed trees for firewood. there was a carcass, so assuming bears or mountain lions like the spot as well.

Awesome place to stay for a night! As others mentioned, you have to check in during business hours (which are 8am to 7pm in the summer). This is a Harvest Host location, but non-HH members are allowed to stay for one night. The overnight RV parking lot is a large grass field that can accommodate 50+ RVs and is apparently video monitored. There were ~20 RVs/camper vans the night I stayed, but everyone was very respectful and quiet. The field is far enough away from the road that there is minimal traffic noise. In the shop you can buy homemade cheese, wine, chocolate, as well as a bunch of other local products. There is also a restaurant that serves very reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. Outside, there is an animal farm with donkeys, goats, alpacas and other animals that visitors are allowed to pet.

soroush is not only a top mechanic, but also a great guy! we came to get our air-conditioning fixed at our land cruiser (which btw not even Toyota managed to do) he fixed it in a day and it is still working perfectly! After that we realised there are many more things that needed to be fixed so we actually spend 3 days with him which where fun, informative ( we learned a lot about our car) and just genuinely nice! He asked for a fair price for top work. 100% recommend and we will come again to visit and share some tea!

This was a great little park to stay the night. We pulled in late and the kids were excited when they woke up to be able to play at a playground while we packed up.

Just off 25, short trail to river. There were about 4 or 5 motorcycles that took the trail to the riverand 1 pickup was parked on a Saturday at 4 p.m. Site is flat. I'm in a 30 ftrv and no problem fitting. Several camp fire sites. Nice meadow. No Verizon service.

Sonoma county established campground. Tent spots are $37/night with additional $2/night dog fee (if applicable). Some sites are close together and or don’t have level tent areas so checking sites beforehand would be preferable.

Major downside is currently there were traces of ecoli found in the well so you need to boil all water before drinking.

Bathroom and shower facilities were clean and had hot water.

2 bars of service for Verizon.

Wood was $10 for only a couple pieces but they did offer newspaper if you purchased their wood. Highly recommend getting firewood at the one of the stores or informal shops nearby.

Shaded, quiet. Slept here last night with no issues. When I woke I saw many others doing the same. There are police call boxes inside and on the grounds. Seems very safe

We slept here 1 night in our car, parked at the side of the restaurant. Sleeping was for free and we had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Dinner was 20 dollars for two people with a good glass of chilean wine :) Wilbert was very welcoming and the place is very nice with a covered terrace where we could spent the rainy afternoon. They have wifi and bathrooms. Perfect for a stop in our way to Matapalo and Corcovado.

The Lynx Creek Project has taken over this site for temporary housing of the workers. They are building a dam (for hydro power), new bridges and elevated roads and it may take some more time. Once it's done, this place will be on the bottom of a new lake (as well as all other places between here and the dam near Charlie Lake / Fort St John). We spent the night elsewhere.

I tried staying there last night with my 2 kids. We arrived around 9 and were getting set-up for the night, windows and doors open to let the camper cool down. The security man was walking the lot making his rounds. Shortly after, 2 late-teenage punks were circling around and looking in through the doirs and windows, climbing on my back spare tire trying to climb on the roof and shaking our bikes on the rack. I got out, momma bear mode, and made sure to show them they were not gonna mess with us, i was scared for my kids that were inside and not being able to secure the camper. One ended up pulling out a knife and treathening (a few times) to stab me with a knife he has just pulled out. I think he was embarrased to be told off by a woman. A third boy ran over (one that obviously knew him) and started talking him out of it. It was a scary few minutes and we pulled out of there after notifying the security person, who walked the lot. Be aware.

Great quiet place for a stopover. Rained all night so no kids invading our peace. True, the town is not much, compared to the others around, so a place to sleep is all you can ask of this place.
