We found this spot by searching for a stop heading to ankara. It's up the hill following a gravel-road (4x4 is not needed but recommended) with a little bit of shadow. there are diffrent places to stay, but this is quite flat. We stayed with a Defender, but bigger cars may also fit on this spot. It is very calm, the street might be heared a litte bit. The only one who passes is a sheperd with his sheeps in the morning, but he didn't bother us.

Nice and quiet place be the lake. Mini beach close by. Accessible by dirt road from north side (high clearance recommend but relatively easy ride).

Nice place with good pizza & pasta. Cath and Claire are wonderful hosts. There is also a bar with a fancy pool.
Campsites with shared ablution and tents with private ablution (no electricity). Ablution are still under construction (should be finished soon) so we could use the very nice ablution from a tent.
Restaurant is open from Friday to Sunday.
Camping is US$ 10 pppn
Tent for two is US$ 35 pn
We enjoyed our stay very much!

This eco village community is a pretty cool place and different to most normal campsites. Camping is R200pp including a vegetarian dinner which is nice as you interact with some people living interesting lives here. Permaculture gardens (greens from the gardens if in season for a donation), natural buildings from mud and thatch, long drop toilets, nice hot shower with donkey system, a yoga hall to meditate or do yoga, free wifi and lots to see and experience. The people staying here are mostly busy in the gardens and building so you can go see and help out if you like. Other visitors like volunteers and guests come stay in the guest rooms (R400 single or R600 double incl dinner) and there are cooking facilities for breakfast and lunch. Please no meat to be cooked in the communal kitchen. Drinking water next to the road out of a pipe. Locals drink it and tell tourists, its drinkable.

Fantastic campsite and the pitches are huge, we were on pitch 8, super clean. However access to camping pitches are not big rig friendly. Not easy access and it took a lot of patience to navigate the long narrow track between trees.
Once in it was perfect.

Nice spot for 1-2 tents, with campfire, beautiful view, privacy. The only disadvantages are traffic noises from the main road and a few mosquitoes in the evening, but it was nothing serious, we enjoyed the stay.

We took the exit immediately after the narrow bridge on the main road and followed the dirt road for a while. Then, just follow the ‘road’ on Google Maps satellite images and navigatie through the higher grass. Plenty of spots with and without shade along the river. Been here for two days and saw nobody.

Management has political stickers- I will pass on this place next time.

Big fountain in the center of ENEZ city. Restaurant owners nearby are very friendly and will even provide hot water.

new requirement, all visitors need to be accompanied by a ranger/guide for about $5 pppd. He was apologetic about it, but can't do anything about it. However, no need to arrange beforehand.
He also explained that it's about 2 1/2 h to the hut. From there you get various options for trails.

Passamos a noite aqui em um sábado com vários caminhões. O posto é pequeno mas conseguimos abastecer água e descartar o porta potti. Tem ducha fria nos banheiros.

Not bad space. If you are coming from the east, you can also camp on D2779 (turn off at one of the many farm roads). You can hear vehicles pass at this space and jackals at night but undisturbed. MTC 2 bar LTE (in the rooftent)

Amazing place - parking only for 1 or two vehicles, lots of space for tents and a cabin that can be booked via Airbnb. Misha (host) extremely helpful and came out to open up when we turned up announced - call from the website before arriving to make sure there is space and someone there.

Great little pull off, was busy until dusk and then I was alone. Lots of picnic tables and the water wasn’t too cold - a few locals swimming. Busy road brilliant 11 or so but had a restful sleep. Big rigs will have trouble pulling in during the day in summer as it’s a busy spot. Plus it was a nice sunset spot 🌅!!

We slept for two nights here and left the car during our stay in Isla del Sol. Had no problems. Beautiful view of the lake. Only space for one or two cars. There is a restaurant in front (Tairi Uta) with good Wi-Fi that works here.

Quiet spot along a mountain path. You have to cross a small river to get here. There are plenty of spots along this path. 4x4 not necessary, except when you go further up, then you'll need 4x4 and sufficient ground clearance. 4G+ reception with Magticom.

Great spot for overnight parking. As usual located right at interstate entrance/exit so can be a little noisy. Nice staff

Was a perfect stay, 12$ fee per camper per night. Very close to good restaurants and the center of the city

Secluded, quite spot. During the night there might be sheep and goats around, during the day maybe some fishermen. You have to drivd around 10km off-road. When it is dry you don't need a 4*4. If it's wet, you definitely need a 4*4 as you might have some sections with a bit of mud. The track is on Openstreemap. There is a small beach. There are also some bushes and small trees that provide a bit of shade. Highly recommendable spot! The view is spectacular!

Picnic tables. Quiet. No toilet. Parking lot of the beginning of the trails. Next to a large parking lot. Not sure how it is during the week. Right after the sign welcoming us to Liverpool

The casino is open 24h with bathrooms, and there is a parking garage you can stay in overnight. We stayed on the guest spots entering the roof level and no one bothered us. It’s right by the airport so you’ll hear planes.

Parking spaces for the park right on a busy street. No Parking on Mondays 8AM to Noon. No vehicles over 22 feet. Stayed one night in a van. Cell reception Verizon 2 bars. Adequate but slow for streaming.

Really good spot to stay. Don’t expect to get a river spot, people seem to spread out pretty extensively too. Porta Potties were sparking clean and there was a hand washing station. Really nice.
