jcapogna | There a lot of spots spaced on this road. The main forest road is really smooth, any vehicle can get down it. Some of the spots may require 4 wheel drive to get into but there are plenty of spots for 2wd. |
NF-21 Spring Creek | 45.35079, -118.30931
jcapogna | This is easy to get to and there is a nice level clearing right off the road. However this is in a burnt out forest, so it's not then most scenic or private place. I ended up finding another spot on iOverlander just down the road. |

Abandoned campground in the National Forest | 46.05618, -121.96811
ackermanh14 | Easy access right off the highway, a little road noise but quiets down at night. Multiple access spots to the river and a little trail that goes right along it. One good flat spot for a tent, can fit a van but hard to find level ground to park it. Not a lot of wood to scavenge for a fire unless you go down the trail a little ways but lots of places along the highway selling firewood if you need it. A good amount of micro trash and some glass- leave it better than you found it! Good spot for a few nights |

skipwatson1951 | I'm not so sure this is BLM land, but it does seem to be usable for an overnight. this appears to be an occasionally active gravel pit. there was no equipment here when we stayed, but there are dozer tracks and you can tell where heavy equipment has dug into the hillside and berms. when you turn off Birdseye Rd onto the gravel drive you go up a slight incline, then it "Y's". the left opens up into a flat area that can handle about 3 large rigs. if you continue up the right side driveway, up the hill, it opens up to another flat area that can handle 1 big rig. someone has made a stone fire ring up there. from there there is a small, slightly overgrown road continuing up the hill. a van or truck camper should be able to go up there, but I wouldn't take a big rig. |

Adriaan&Isabelle | Rather smallish sites with little privacy, close to the highway (which is quiet after dark). Water from a hand operated pump needs to be boiled before use. Pit toilets are clean. Remarkably few biting bugs. Paid CAN 20 for one site (max 6 people). |

rleduc | Flat area behind instrument station, opposite the rest area (no camping allowed). Take the road to the right of instrument station, up little hill, and then flat spot to right hand side. Only 50 metres from road but road is quiet at night and nearby creek drowns out any road traffic. |

jegot101 | Large gravel lot with some grass behind regular parking area. Next to a grassy sports field. We spent a nice quiet night here with one other van. Cops and security both drove by at least once that we saw. Thank you to the U of A for allowing us to spent a quiet night. |
Fairbanks University Parking Lot | 64.85820, -147.81859
cquattlander | As described, but now part of the pull-out is filled with trash and there is no longer a fire ring. The spot was shockingly level so it was perfect for our camper van. Tons of mosquitoes! No Verizon but my AT&T phone worked just fine. Great little place for one night while exploring the area. |

Joseph The Supertramp | there are lots of NF campgrounds in the region. I stayed at the main campground (Big Rock) that's ten bucks per night. there are others along the fs 76 that's 5 bucks per night (pretty dispersed and 10 min drive probably from the first to the last one). cranberry river is just several dozen feet out so wonderful place. |

Angel on the road | What a wonderful place! Three miles off the highway and you're nestled in the mountains. $5 ($2.50 with pass). I stayed in the big turnaround just below the campground, which is really nice, but the campground is even more spectacular. |
