Forest service campground, about 10 spots on a paved forest road alongside a small creek, just off 299. No highway noise whatsoever once you’re past the 1st spot. (This campground didn’t come up on Google Maps but is signed on the highway.)
$8/night, all first come first served, pit toilets, water from the creek only. Not too busy on a Thursday in August.
The 1st spot will take a big rig and looks level. The next few (across the bridge) will take up to 30’ Class Cs. The back part of the campground is for tenters or Class Bs.
Nothing spectacular, but much better than the noise of boondocking sites on 299, and easy access.
1 bar or less on Verizon depending on where you are and the weather.

Wanted to go here, but I checked the website and it says closed. Not sure if that's just for the winter or not.
Report Check-InNice quiet and peaceful campground. Still 8$ per night or 4$ with several passes. Directly located in the forest next to little creek. Would recommend!
Report Check-Innice campground on the creek. 10 pay sites, at $8 per night. a bit buggy, so bring spray.
Report Check-Incamping closed for winter to protect port Orford cedar trees. Even via motorcycle couldn't go around gate. Best to stay away to protect the trees.
Report Check-InThis campground is currently closed and the road is blocked/locked.
Report Check-InPicturesque little campground along the East Fork creek. All sites are shaded, have picnic tables and fire rings. Pit toilets spaced throughout the grounds. Eight dollars per night, four with pass.
Report Check-InAll of the sites were taken on Labor Day weekend. We followed the dead end road up after the last designated spot. Found a turn out area with a fire pit, which was great.
