There are paid sites $5 as well as dispersed sites at the trail head. There are also plenty of places to park anywhere along the road leading to the trail head.

We fit two cars and four tents into the site across from the bathroom just before the trailhead parking lot. Surrounded by humongous sage brush and some incognito cows, we enjoyed a quiet night before waking up at 5 to start the hike up Borah
The hike itself took us 9.5 hours plus an hour spent at the top. The whole thing was worth it and a fantastic experience
Report Check-InWhat a wonderful place! Three miles off the highway and you're nestled in the mountains. $5 ($2.50 with pass). I stayed in the big turnaround just below the campground, which is really nice, but the campground is even more spectacular.
Report Check-In4 sites by the trailhead road to trailhead is around 3.5 miles. Site 2 is the only somewhat level site. None are good for a van. Sites are free trailhead parking is $5 Privy on location
