Flat area behind instrument station, opposite the rest area (no camping allowed).
Take the road to the right of instrument station, up little hill, and then flat spot to right hand side. Only 50 metres from road but road is quiet at night and nearby creek drowns out any road traffic.

great little spot just off the road, a bit steep & rocky at first but not bad. there's a rest stop just across the road with a pit toilet, trash bins and a nice little lake. there's a creek you can get to from beside the highway. The camping spot is close to the road but totally screened from view, the highway doesn't get much traffic at night.
