Described well by others. The lowest level is the place to be but only can accommodate one small Class C or a B. Two tents would prolly fit. Floating dock is a great plus. I was prepared for the hordes of mosquitoes that others had talked about but on this overcast day with temperature at 55°F there was just a stray one or two. If you’re in a class B or small class C the best approach would be to back down to the spot by the lake. Otherwise, as others have said there’s the first level off of the rest area with picnic tables that are easily accessible from both ends.

Wonderful spot! Set up near the river with a fire ring- short walk to the pit toilet. Lots of Saskatoon berries surround the entire area - lots of bears enjoying the Saskatoons. Beautiful view of the mountains nice sounds from the river.

Perfect spot! We asked the security guy, he told us it’s safe and it’s allowed to camp. Plenty of trash bins and toilets. Also: if you drive a bit further, there’s more places to camp (and many more campers). There are even some really long and wide spots for big rigs. Would definitely stay again!

Recycling center with bins for cardboard, glass, paper, plastic, aluminum, tin cans…maybe more that I didn’t see. Open 8-4:45p everyday aside from some holidays.

Nice, first 7 days 10, then 5 $ per day, just parking or living in the car. No potable water and only simple cold shower in the only toilet. Gandhi, the german shepherd dog, is very nice and very curious...

Stayed here one night. Really cute little forest area. Quiet and peaceful with lots of shade to make the summer morning comfortable!

Wow... Such a wonderful experience staying at the beautiful Rancho La Bellota. Raul and Caroline are possibly the kindest, most welcoming hosts we have met. As overlanders themselves, they understand exactly what overlanders need! Super clean toilet and shower (with hot water!), refreshing spring water pool, so many places to sit and relax around the property. There is no cell service or WiFi, or even electric lights inside - its like taking a step back in time (in the best way possible) to fully disconnect, relax and unwind. They have 6 super friendly dogs on the property who instantly befriended our little puppy - she had the best time playing with them with the freedom to roam around! There is also an option to eat a meal with the other guests staying at the ranch for $10 a meal, if you give them some notice. Highly recommend visiting and staying as long as you can - it's the perfect starting point after crossing the Tecate border. Just email Raul at least a day before you arrive to make sure there is space. The road is constantly being improved, but not suitable for vans bigger than ours - we're in a 2wd 170 Sprinter, and we just about managed on the narrow windy bits and big dips and bumps!! We found this spot because we wanted to enjoy the beautiful river and some sun before heading to Cusco. Highly recommendable!
It is private property and belongs to Ruben. He is very welcoming and allows overlanders to stay for a small tip. There is a beautiful house (which you can rent as well for up to 10 people), a small sand path that you can drive down to the river. There, you have a beautiful beach and you can swim in the river. You can make a fire and will be completely by yourself.

Cost to camp with full hook up is $35 and $24 looks like they recently upped their prices. Great camp ground the host is very nice. We read online that it’s first come first serve but when we got there she said she only had one place for one night cause the whole place was reserved for a family reunion for the week. Nice swimming hole that was fairly busy with campers. Dog must be on leash at all times, doggy bags available to clean up after your pups. Bath house with toilets and showers we didn’t use it as we had a full hook up and able to shower in our camper. Also they allow u to get rid of your trash along with sewer hook up.

Lovely spot. Space for multiple vans. Take it slow coming in. Please be respectful, people have been pooping at the campsites and leaving garbage. This spot will be blocked if it is not better cared for.

Pull in rest area next to road. Large asphalt parking area. Easy pull through parking for RV's.

Three picnic tables. Pit toilets. Very short trailhead to river overlook, photo opportunity. Mosquito heavy so bring spray.

No rules posted about parking.

No Verizon cell phone coverage.

Only heard one airplane while we had the doors open. Huge RV parking area in the back. There was only one other camper van here. 5 min from the airport. 3 bars 5G ATT.

great spot to camp by the lake. it's free, clean sites, spacious. nice and quiet.

Ali is a nice guy and has a workshop for Volkswagen cars like t2 t3 t4 golf 3 etc. Its a well equipped workshop and a nice guy. He speaks a bit German

There a lot of spots spaced on this road. The main forest road is really smooth, any vehicle can get down it. Some of the spots may require 4 wheel drive to get into but there are plenty of spots for 2wd.

This is easy to get to and there is a nice level clearing right off the road. However this is in a burnt out forest, so it's not then most scenic or private place. I ended up finding another spot on iOverlander just down the road.

Tres tranquille, on entends pas beaucoup la route. On entend surtout plusieurs sortent d’oiseux. Nous étions seuls. Vue magnifique. Énormément de moustiques.

Really nice RV lot in the back. I just stayed one night. Several RVs and vans parked overnight. Cell service with Verizon is spotty but works.

Good place before going to Tusheti. Some locals are also there for picnic. Quiet at night. Some rubbish around. The place is actually a little bit further up north: 42.12863 45.42104

Very secluded, quiet. Great place to stay

Easy access right off the highway, a little road noise but quiets down at night. Multiple access spots to the river and a little trail that goes right along it. One good flat spot for a tent, can fit a van but hard to find level ground to park it. Not a lot of wood to scavenge for a fire unless you go down the trail a little ways but lots of places along the highway selling firewood if you need it. A good amount of micro trash and some glass- leave it better than you found it! Good spot for a few nights
