Spent one night here. The campground is clean and well cared for. However strange going’s on. Throughout the night many cars drove around the loop but didn’t stay even though there where open sites.

If you fill up, the hot bath is free.. quiet place with little movement, but it's next to the highway

fun tour can be recommended. There is Complexo Akaiá close by a very relaxing hotel/ campground/ restaurant which can be highly recommend. The access road is in good condition for all vehicles.

Amazing spot, not too many mosquitoes, right on the lake with many individual spots just off the nain gravel road

square at the entrance of the city on the riverbank, with a beautiful view of the city of capitol and the mountains, there is a tap for water but no electricity or toilets. slept one night along with two other motorhomes. good for one night

Wide range of (international) products, but bread offering was disappointing.

Friendly posto for bike travelers. They let me stay in a corner with access to the clean bathrooms and already connected to their wifi after buying a rewarded beer 🍺

Nice camping with a lot of tree shadow. Paid 20€ for 2 adults, 2 kids, a tent and a dog.
Pets friendly. You can also fish nearby.

came here on a summer weekend, a lot of people coming and going on the dirt road buttttt overall a great spot. camp is right next to the soothing running water. Camp ring was perfect! bring some bug spray or your paddle boards for the lake!

When coming into the Michi no eki, follow the truck parking signs, straight ahead to the left.
Limited to 30L per person to reduce crowds, saw people taking more.

Secluded car park next to Oide Park. 24hr toilets available 100m inside the park. Very clean.
The Hakuba michi no eki overnight was horrendous. Very small car parks and trucks coming in running engines all through the night. This was much more pleasant for my 2nd night

A very nice BLM campground on the river. first come, first serve. $10/ night (or $5 with interagency pass.) It takes about an hour to drive down the road. 4x4 not necessary. Group campsites as well. There's a campsite host.

It is a popular take-out spot for rafts and drift boats. On a Friday night in mid-July, there were only 3 or 4 other campers. The riverbank has thick vegetation, but the campsites are not shaded. The reason to come down here to camp is to wade fish in the river.

This is a BLM OHV site, so the " roads " are not maintained. A recent rain (water still standing) washed out the area that the OP seemed to indicate was his site. But, as he indicates, further up the OHV area there are various flat spots that should be just fine.

Beautiful spot but the wind is crazy! Check wind forecast for the night before you come

we drove by. The "very diffucult road" is shaped actually. Obstacles are the many turtles on the road outside the crater at 8:45 in the morning.
