You can indeed find a flat place to stand but shadow is not very easy to find and there is loads of trash. The descent from the street is pretty steep and can be tough for big and less strong cars.

Gravel road for caravans, off-road vehicles and motorcycles. At the end a big place for 6-8 tents or 2 caravans. There are possibilities to turn. Water and wood accessible.

Perfect spot for roof tent etc at this old road which is not in use since the tunnel was build. The road has a dead end so there's no traffic passing.

This place is recommended in LP but it was disappointing. The thali that we ordered was served very quickly, but the food wasn't properly heated and the beans were still raw.

Basic campground in the Yungas. Everything a soul needs: nature, silence, relaxation. To enjoy. 300 pesos.

Water tap right next to parking lot to fill up the water cistern, very clear and good mountain water

Came looking for the signal. I was receiving some pretty strong signals but couldn't get a connection. This site was pretty close to the highway and had a lot of noise, but there are some further down the road that are quieter.

USGS campground on a beautiful stream. Half the sites back up to the stream popular with rainbow trout fisherman. First come first serve campground. $22/night. Firewood available. Pit toilets. Soon to have city water, but service was not turned on yet when I was here. Accepts Senior pass for half price but not other interagency passes. Some Verizon signal, but not for me for some reason.

Check in with the security guard and let him know you are going to the beach. He will let you through. Drive all the way down to the end and park you are on the road. Walk between the houses and you will come to an incredible, nearly deserted white sand beach. Paradise!

Came here on a Saturday and we’re the only ones. Nice, level spots. Hot in mid July but the night cooled down and was very enjoyable. 15 minutes to the National Park.

What a great site! Lots of space by the lake. I can imagine how nice this would be in the summer ... oh wait... (this is July). Raining, raining, raining

This was a very interesting stop. Well worth dealing with the roads.

Seems to be a small unmaintained campground. We parked under the trees next to the picnic table. The water access here is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem of a spot! We stopped on a Saturday in July and no one is here. Some locals stopped by for a swim but that's it.

Bel endroit petit parc clos au bord de l eau pour dormir avec les chevaux dans la journee. Gardien tres sympa et gratuit si visite des cascades pour 100 cordoba. Top je recommande meme si les 10 derniers kms de piste sont un peu abimes. Pas besoin de 4x4.

Nice small camping. Not suitable for big RVs. Water, 220v electricity, clean bathroms, kitchen, Wi-Fi. César and Mary, the owners, very good people. 10 min walking from the beach.

Still open in 2022, happily. $600 for a room. The place is clean and well-maintained; it all feels well-run. The parking is excellent (see photos) There’s an interesting food-truck village opened next door. The owner is originally from Changi Village, for any other Singapore exiles…

Next to a really dusty road, utterly underwhelming. Not sure why the previous check-ins thought it was so wonderful. Would much rather go for the public land around craters of the moon.

A vintage hostal, with comfortable rooms and hot showers. Price range from 14 US$ (shared bathroom) to 20+ . Secure parking space for motorcycles and 3 cars. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Only 3km away from Ecuador Freedom Motorcycle Rental (they service your bike, besides renting). Breakfast available. Very friendly staff. Laundry available.

Megaparador YPF. Completo com loja de conveniência,banhos (não muito quentes), banheiro e um grande estacionamento para parar veículos de todos os tamanhos... Lugar super seguro, com câmeras, iluminação... um ótimo lugar para dormir tranquilo, sem medo de ser roubado... a vista da cordillera dos andes é linda e o por do sol fantástico!
A megaparador YPF. It's Full, hace showers (not soo hot), bathroom, store, a big parking lot for all size vehicles... A good place to stay in Mendoza... can sleep safe and secure... good ilumination and security cameras. Very good! The view of cordillera dos andes os soo pretty.

Good for a night. As described pull out next to the street, a bit noisy but over the night not that much traffic.

I hate to leave a bad reveiw but if you can help it do not stay here... The price was hi for what they have but they put no maintenance into there site. the bathrooms ( pit toilets) where even falling down.. the roads were so full of holes it was hard to drive.. the showers and running bathrooms were closed at 8 the rive behind was nice but that's it. just my opinion..

Cost ... 25.00 for nothing but a muddy lot

Georgia-Russia. Saturday. Georgian side took us 1.5 hours waiting time, the crossing itself was fast. Then 6 hours waiting time to get to the russian border control. Spent there another 6 hours filling out forms, being questioned, filling out more forms, stand in line to return the forms, waiting for the next shift to arrive to look at our forms... Was a hell of a day

We spent two nights enjoying the sights of Granada with Kevin’s place as our base. I walked a few times alone into town and always felt safe. The market is busy with a lot of street food options. We would have been otherwise unaware of a lot of helpful suggestions Kevin was generous to share with us. Very helpful and kind and a very safe location for high clearance vehicles.

13 site donation based campground ($10/night suggested donation) along Avalanche Creek. Hiking trail nearby.

Way nicer than the other option I had stopped going west. Lots of vans also. Quiet night.

Like a previous review said, I followed Google maps and ended up on the opposite side of the swimming hole. It worked out though since that was taken already at about 2 pm anyway. I was the only person on my side. Quiet and peaceful spot, but there was human poop and toilet paper about.
