Traktorbek | We didn't stay for the night because some locals were there drinking and we were not in a drinking mood. We stayed around 400m further towards the north-western end of the bay. No too far away from the old factory buildings. We went back to this place the next morning for breakfast and a swim. |
Issyk Kul Lake | 42.16475, 77.03974
miroandval | The campground was full when we arrived. It seems that the city removed any tent sites. All site now have electricity and cost $40. |
Red cliff Municipal Campground | 50.07610, -110.79401
ajtihansky | Limited cell signal, no septic at sites, has a dump station, many of the spots are big rig friendly with pull through’s near the office otherwise the office side of the campground are Jammed pack tent sites. We did not venture to the other side of the park to see the spaces for ourselves. It does advertise cable tv that doesn’t work, the office lady said (it’s just there for show only some work)???

Peter | A few serviced (sewer/water/electricity) are available by the day with advance reservations. This is a very old park filled mostly with year round 5th wheelers, many with fences, decks and sheds. If you are looking for beautiful surrounds, this is not the place. If you need to dump, get water and recharge the batteries -- or entertain some young kids, then it is ok. There is no day use, and the water slide they were famous for, is long decommissioned. It is transitioning to a Jellystone franchise with means that if you have some 8 year old kids, there are activities like limbo, foam parties, cotton candy, crafts, cart rides -- run by some teenage camp councilors. In that case, you want to park close to the rec center because this park is huge. |
Marine Park | 47.73800, -52.80762
Ross | Nice Provincial park w/ flushable toilets and water. If the park is full, you are allowed to park overnight in the parking lot (above the day use area) & they'll check for spots the next day. We saw a couple of campers parked in that lot all weekend 'cause the park was full. Limited cell phone service. |
Monck Provincial Park Campground | 50.17783, -120.53463
Ross | Drove by it on way to the park. A car w/ a tent was there. Looks like a nice spot w/ a great view. |

Nicko-Supertramp | Good spot for a quick stop. Great view of the bridge and the city. I was surprise that it wasn’t that much noisy for the place. |
Vista Point San Francisco | 37.83248, -122.47948
picnics1970 | A nice open, flat hard surfaced ground not too far off the road. There are a lot of elephants in the area and this offered a safe spot to overnight. Only two cars passed us in the night and some fellow adventurers the next morning. WILD CAMPING ETIQUETTE

Wereldreizigers.nl | It was CROWDED with campers and overnighters. Much more quite then the campsites in Bozeman which are located right next to interstates and/or railroads. There is a no overnight parking sign, but approx. 70 campers and trailers were here tonight! |
Walmart - Bozeman | 45.69424, -111.04434
newrootfamily | We arrived at the Casino and parked in the parking lot. There was a sign behind the dumpsters for RVers (photo included). As instructed, we went into the gift shop and checked in. They have Electric and Water hookups for a fee $15-30. It's free to boondock which we did. There's a dump station at the BP in the same parking lot which we didn't use. not sure if there's a fee or not. A good spot to rest our heads for the night. LOTS of mosquitoes as there's standing water directly behind the RV hook up spots. |

Jack and Lindsey | We are camping up the dirt path from the open grass space. There was already someone there. At the top of the hill you get a great view. It is very quiet up here. There is a spot where someone had a fire but there is no ring. Great spot and some cell service. |

Tractor Supply | 38.55662, -106.92749
dailycakeslice | Cute spot. Nice river water sounds if you aren’t in your vehicle and you walk a few feet to the camping spot. Fire pit. Some trash, so please pack out anything you bring, including used toilet paper. Road is littered with huge potholes, but if you drive slow and methodically you can get through with a little 2WD car no problem. 1-2 bars and some slow (enough for webpages) LTE on T-Mobile |
