Description

We’ve parked there last minute and slept in our car. You can't park on the beach side but you can park on the other side of the road! There is plenty of space and after 8pm it was also quiet. There is a restroom close by. We’ve enjoyed breakfast with a view (: as two young woman we felt safe there.

Report Check-In

Police came a little after midnight. No parking during the night. Told me to go to American Tin Factory

Report Check-In

The police came around midnight and we had to move. They said that parking wasn't allowed between 12 am to 5 am.

Report Check-In

No camping signs now posted in the dirt pullout next to the golf course, cites “City of Pacific Grove Municipal Code 18.36.040” - no camping allowed on any public street. We’ve parked here a few weeks ago and didn’t see this sign and wasn’t bothered, but came back and this sign was up and ended up leaving.

great place! we stayed for one night next to several cars and vans and had no issues. decent public bathroom within walking distance.

Report Check-In

Great place, after 10 pm low traffic, some cars after 7 am. A lot of campers and vans stayed the night. We stayed on the side opposite to the seaside, no "no overnight" signs on this side. on the other side, some spots have sign, some other no... but all the vehicles originally on the seaside moved to the opposite site after sunset. we felt safe and enjoyed the ocean sound during the night!

Report Check-In

Great spot. Safe, quiet pullout on the side of the road opposite the coast and next to the golf course fence. no knocks at night and just a couple cars driving down the road randomly. Many other van and car campers here. There is a bathroom a little down the road that was closed at night but open in the morning. Quite a bit of pedestrian activity on the other side of the road in the morning.

Report Check-In

pulled up a little after 8pm on the non sea side. Already 3 other campers down the road. Had a good sleep traffic died off around 9.30 and back around 7am. When I woke up there were 7 campers in total. Great spot next to the sea !

Report Check-In

Great spot right by the water ! You can hear the waves all night long. We stayed two nights, coming around 7pm each night. First night with several other travelers and the second just one other rig stayed with us. Highly recommend for a peaceful night.

Report Check-In

We made it through the night without any knocks or tickets. I was slightly nervous with the lack of other vehicles and some reviews from this area. The majority of sunset drive has signs that say no overnight parking from midnight to 5 am. At some spots along the road those signs are missing and it just says pull off pavement. We parked maybe a half mile south of the gps location along the beach. The waves, views and sunset were awesome. Below is a link to Pacific Grove parking. We did not explore lot one to check on the price or availability. https://www.cityofpacificgrove.org/our_city/departments/police/police_services/parking_permits___residential_parking/index.php

Stayed here over the weekend by the beach. Really nice spot with a restroom within the parking lot. It was busy with people going in and out until sunset at ~9:00pm.

Woke up to some guy who was questioning me about why I was camping there and started getting angry at people camping in this pot. He said that there was no parking from 12am to 5am in the parking lot and that people are getting pissed that campers are there everyday...

My partner and I stayed overnight in the parking lot with another couple at this location and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It was quiet and felt very safe. being in close proximity to the bathrooms was also a nice bonus. We didn’t find any signs indicating there were any limits to overnight parking. The sign for the public bathrooms advertised that they were closed after sunset, however in our experience, they were unlocked and publicly available all night. We would highly recommend this location for a cozy overnight stay!
P.S. Watch out for the local trash goblins… the raccoons are not friendly.

Super Spot en bord de route mais très tranquille ! Beaucoup de monde pour le couché de soleil !
Ne pas se garer côté mer, ni devant les habitations !
Very Self Place

Report Check-In

Really great place by the ocean. Pretty quiet. Public restroom is a 5 minute walk. Let’s keep this Ana Ingrid spot clean!!

Report Check-In

we stayed along the road facing north for one Saturday night with no problems. busy around sunset then it clears out. some cars going by but not too noisy. don't count on the bathrooms (women's was clogged) but they're there. I think as long as you're not in front of houses you should be fine.

Report Check-In

As described. Arrived just before sunset et leaved at 8 in the morning. No problem with our sprinter (saw one other camper)
