Absolutely lovely place! Beautiful nature, clear lake to swim, lots of blueberries, no people, almost no traffic. The only disadvantage is, that you have to leave your car at the main road and carry your luggage about 50 meters.

Decent pressure, cold drinkable water. Next to a mosque.

Great place. Close to water but not right next to it. Nice water connection for fill up and dump site. Fairly level. Slept here one night . Not too much road noise.

slept really well in my mini van. didn't check for a sign, but there were a lot of cars in the parking lot at night so we were not standing out.

Open again. Double is 14.000, big fenced parking area. Didnt stay here.

Pretty nice place in the forest. Many people do their barbecue on the weekends but as there are many spots you will find one.

Camper spot just 200 meters off the main road. Nice view towards Tskaltubo.

Great place for a quick overnight just outside of Seattle. Long pullout section on the way to Ollalie State Park. There were at least 6 others when we stopped for the night, but everyone had plenty of room to space out and there was still room for more. Signs state 8 hours only.

Nice lodge on the Congo Nile Trail. We opted for a double room for 40.000 incl breakfast. Twin is 45.000 and apartment with shared bathroom (no breakfast included) is 15.000. Breakfast is 5000 pp and dinners between 5-1000 per main.

Perfect place near to the old town. It has safe and closed parking for cars and motorcycles. Price 1p/1n: 10€

Sign says camping at your own risk, so it’s officially allowed to camp here. It’s a big area at the lake with lots of space for any kind of vehicle. Several sites, some with more privacy than others. There’s fire pits, picnic tables and bins provided. Lake not really good for swimming as it’s muddy and there’s lots of geese poop around. Be prepared for bugs during the day and small mozzies at night. The roads leading to it are gravel roads in good condition.

Stay here for 1 night without problems.
Some noise in the night with the train right on the side street. I count around 5 trains passing by the night.

Daytime parking. Water bottle fill up a short distance into the trail. 6.5 km trail. Nice walk, bring water. Boat ramp, my dog went and played in it to cool off after our walk. Bathroom but more like a jail cell (not joking).

Jo and his family were very welcoming to let us stay on their grounds on a donation basis, which includes great vista, hot shower and bathroom, and of course the visit to Tessa's Pool. Intermittent econet cell service. There are 5 friendly young dog on the grounds.

Jo mentioned that they can also offer customized outdoor classes, which they can arrange on the spot and without prior notice. This would be at a cost of $25 pppd and would include 2 activities. These could be anything ziplining, abseiling, mountain climbing, river crossing, etc. We were on a set schedule and didn't take any.

Small pull off but got here on the Motorcycle. Can't make it up past this as it's too steep and gravel is rough. Amazing view! Just had a couple dirt bikes go by earlier in the day. Pretty sure this is marked as an off road trail for bikes on onx so keep that in mind. Recommend walking or going to the top. Amazing view of Mt Rainier. Woke up in the clouds this morning ✌️😎😂

The river washed out the road getting in but you can go around the way google maps shows and you’ll get to the same spot!

Très belle place pour y passé quelques jours pour se reposer de la route avant d’entrer dans Bighorn et Yellowstone, très venteux et à bonne distance pour du ravitaillement. Quelques site avec électricité les autres non. Les prix $25 (elect) $15 sans. Ont s’inscrit et laisse l’argent dans une enveloppe dans une boîte scellée.

Camping is available for 25 bucks per tent upon request, but the rooms are also very lovely, every single one like a honeymoon suite. They start from about 50 bucks pn and include a bathroom with hot shower and breakfast.
The restaurant is located directly at the beach, which is completely deserted, apart from a few fishermen.
So, if You want to skip the touristy part of Zanzibar, come directly to Menai Beach Bungalows!
