Latest Check-Ins

Just stopped into this place and its being tore up with construction. Not sure if they are making it bigger or putting up residential buildings but it's definitely not a park currently.

Really can’t recommend this place. I’ve stayed in places all over North America and this might be my worst sleep ever. I can sleep through the highway traffic with my fan on for white noise but cars coming and going from the lot itself, music playing, someone repeatedly opening and closing their car door for 15 mins, and people using my back bumper to hold their drinks while they snort cocaine is a liiiiiittle hard to sleep through.

Quiet spot to stop and do some maintenance on my 4 wheeled summer home.

I live nearby. Enjoy while it is available. This is the site of an old truck stop and the Wagon Wheel restaurant. I suspect this will see development in the not too distant future. West of here is Fifty Point Campground if you find yourself in need.

Great overnight spot! The lake is beautiful and a you get pretty much waterfront views. The parking lot has a lot of trash but there are now ice walking paths, trash bins, and a fresh water lake to enjoy

Report Check-In

Yes it is noisy but if you must stop for the night it’s ok.

Report Check-In

Great place for an overnight stay. Beautiful sunrise with a great view of Toronto skyline in the distance. Pit toilet could use some TLC.

Report Check-In

stayed for a night, the water front and the beach is very nice, however it is really noisy.

Report Check-In

Had a great night at this spot. The highway is loud but not a big deal. Beautiful sunrise over the lake. Four other camper vans/RVs stayed in the lot for the night. No signs about parking. Porta-potty was fine.

Report Check-In

great spot. if you can't handle traffic noise not for you, right off the QEW, BUT the morning sunrise over the water is amazing. gross pit toilet on site

Report Check-In

really good spot for such a populated area. level ground and quiet corners with a decent pit toilet. beach indeed very nice and worth half a day or extended meal. a lot of people around though, mostly dog walkers, sunsetters, and runners. highway noise still present at night.

Report Check-In

NO signs prohibiting overnight parking—there is a port-a-potty on sight—paved walking trail and access to beach… 2 minute drive to fast food, washrooms and grocery store.

Report Check-In

Don’t let the dismal parking / dirty surroundings fool you; the beach is awsome. We made bbq diner here, played on the beach really awesome. The parking is surrounded with garbage but is passable for a nights stay. The beach is awesome, really worth the look see (barely 100 meters from parking). Again, worth it, just a « so so » parking spot…look beyond it!

Report Check-In

Loved the dinner we had here; many plumb campers.
Would definitely recommend.

off of 604N. Road was not too busy. Perfect spot to launch a canoe or kayak .Parking lot is level. No amenities . River provides water for washing and swimming

Report Check-In

Quiet new residential area with townhomes, condos and shops. Close to a number of amenities, including a Tim Hortons, Subway and Swiss Chalet.

Report Check-In

Quick and easy, just off the highway, relatively quiet at night.

Such a cute beach with a beautiful walking trail along the water towards the newly built “mini-strip” in Grimsby!! There are no “no parking” signs anywhere. We parked at the back on the lot and had no issues, the parks staff came in the morning to clean and didn’t bug us!
