According to their website:
After 50 years of operation, the land of the Calgary West Campground will be redeveloped starting Spring 2023 and camping will no longer be available.
This is a tired campground in need of a major facelift.
Washrooms, pool etc. All need updating.
The sites are generally small, though they can accommodate large rigs I some areas.
The hooks up on some of the sites are hard to get to as they are on the incorrect side of the trailer.
There is major road works on the trans Canada highway and getting to the campground is confusing and difficult. Do not rely on your GPS as the route is changing with the construction.
Though our site was quite, there are heavy trucks and construction equipment close to the campground , working on the major road changes.
Near the Olympic Parc and the Highway, free WiFi (even around the sites), swimming pool, picnic place on each site
