Latest Check-Ins

We went up to Monte Binga in one day. It was quite a hike, and it was also for our guide the first time. The landscape and the view are incredible. It's totally worth it for a visit. If you are thinking of sneaking past the base camp, I would recommend it. There are many rangers in this area and when they see you without a guide, you will have a problem.

Park entrance fee is still 10 USD pP, guide 5 USD pP

new requirement, all visitors need to be accompanied by a ranger/guide for about $5 pppd. He was apologetic about it, but can't do anything about it. However, no need to arrange beforehand.
He also explained that it's about 2 1/2 h to the hut. From there you get various options for trails.

I hiked up to the mountain hut and spent the night there. Had to pay 17 usd in total. Better to buy your ticket at the office in Chimanimani because they don't always have change here.

If you're camping: $12 pp($3 conservation fee + $9 camping) $10 for the car, $10 per day for a guide which you must have due to illegal gold panning /poaching.
For day visit its $10pp day entry, $10 car & $10 guide.

The hikes are pretty intense and steep so bring enough food and water. Guides were really friendly.
