Is NOT 24 hours. they close at 11 per a manager who said they will probably not go back to 24 hours.

Cops came through and kicked everyone out around midnight, about 5 of us. I've stayed here 3 other times and haven't had any issues tho. Still no signs saying you can't sleep here 🤷

Such a remote place. Very peaceful, nobody around.

A table is on site and a fire pit. Plenty of firewood in the forest around. two cars can park there if you are part of one group. Otherwise only space for one vehicle.

The water in the lake is not very clear but the view is amazing. We hiked around the lake. There was no real trail, just through the wilderness. Didn't see a single person all day long.

Rented a nice room with AC right behind Beraka from a grandma that usually spend her days at Beraka, it was 500 pesos instead of 700 at Beraka. No wifi or access to the Beraka pool though.

very good wifi reception plenty of parking. we parked along the back toward the museum. there is a large level lot close to the water that could be used. The next day the park was extremely busy with the splash pad. No one bothered us. Nice free water and free waste dump.

Small state park with 21 tent or van campsites. No hookups, no RVs allowed (our conversion van was okay). No reservations, first-come first-served. Honor system for payment. Bathroom with running water, flush toilets and one shower stall with hot water. Creek runs through property, but unfortunately you mostly hear the steady flow of traffic from the adjacent highway. 2022 rates: $22 Sun-Thurs or $26 weekend for residents. Non-residents $5 higher. $6.50 processing fee on all payments. Discounts for senior or disabled.

Ótima estrutura, local agradável, na entrada da cidade (dá pra ir caminhando, Aprox 1km). Passamos 5 noites super agradáveis no posto.

We stayed 10 nights at the beautiful Twiga Lodge campsite, enjoying 5* hospitality from the 🇬🇧 owners Erika and Paul. Brand new sparkling clean bathrooms with hot showers in a most wonderful green garden setup. The Lodge is only 700 m away from Arusha National Park's gate. The seasoned travelers love sharing their experience, we've hardly ever met someone more knowledgeable on our Cape Town to Uganda trip.
We stored our car for free when we went to Serengeti for 10 days and had our trailer bearings serviced at the well stocked workshop. Paul employs two fabulous mechanics. Also, their food is really great!

This spot was awesome right up the hill from the river with a path and flat ground for parking. The best part about this spot is that right across the road is a huge patch of wild carnivorous pitcher plants! So the mosquitos are low.

As described. Nice spot not too far from 285 so it works well for someone just passing through or if you want to stay and do some recreating in the Arkansas Valley.

They have a no overnight parking sign. So I’m gonna go check out the Walmart next door.

Relaxed and welcoming campsite! We parked behind the main house on the upper level, met other overlanders, and had a bonfire on our first night. The bathrooms were clean and the showers very hot. I liked that they had washer/dryer on site and that our laundry was done in just a few hours! Plenty of green areas and trees for our kitties to play around and hide.

Great place for an overnight after a long drive. You most likely won’t be alone staying here, but there’s lots of room. 24 hr bathroom access is always a plus

This fish cleaning station has an operational water faucet. I filled my van quickly. The marina is open, but the boat launch is closed. So the area is semi-deserted.

This is a good place to sleep with a small camping car near the river but there place only for 1 or 2 vehicule.

Stayed in the NE corner of the parking lot without permission in my car, no troubles. There was about ~5 other campers/vans/trailers there with me.

We had our gas bottle filled and a battery replaced. Quick friendly service. And a huge variety of batteries.

Very European, very clean. Huge variety of breakfasts and lunches to choose from. Freshly baked bread. Parking outside of restaurant.

Really fresh European meat. Lamb tjops for South Africans . Drywors and biltong . Also frozen seafood. Only place selling it in Dar es Salaam- and probably Tanzania
