Description
This is a Nice rest area by the lake. Large RV’s and Buses are prohibited, so it stays quiet. There is an 8 hour limit posted, so it can be considered overnight friendly as long as you are brief.
Pit toilets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a gorgeous lake that is difficult to get down to but a great temperature to swim in.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Report Check-InDidn't like it but stayed because of lack of other options - very noisy with traffic, and some guy parked next to me, got out and either peed right by his truck or played with himself (at least he was facing into his truck).

Ok for one night
Very nice rest area on the lake with a beautiful view of the mountains as well. Steep but short trail to the lake - can take a dip to rinse off after a long trip. Right off the highway so you get that noise, but not bad for what it is. I would definitely recommend it if you’re passing through the area.
Report Check-InA beautiful swim lake on a busy highway! Very busy summer spot with many day users who cleared out near dark. A busy noisy overnight with random people coming and going. Good enough.
Report Check-Ingreat spot. stayed overnight on the parking lot. noisy traffic but the lake is great and there are washrooms and picnic tables . 8h maximum stay but we stayed 14h without any trouble
