Nice spot with nice view and beautiful sunset.
The place is 25m from the road. À little bump at the beginning of the track.
Not recommanded for big rigs

Asked if we could park overnight, manager said they were re-paving the parking lot. Came back the next morning to find the parking lot exactly the same and some other cars had been there overnight. Not sure why they said that to us but just be careful coming here because they might turn you away.

Large RV park right beside the highway. Big sign that says “campground” across from the costco. We only needed to park the car for the night so they only charged us $20. Very clean washrooms and paid showers ($2). Coin operated laundry as well but the machines are old so they only take loonies. Front desk staff was nice. Not a lot of privacy in the sites but we weren’t bothered by anyone and after all our doors were closed we could barely hear the highway too.

We came in for an (early) oil change and questions regarding some sounds we heard on our Landcruiser. The owner took the time to look at our car together, and went for a drive with us to check what sounds we were concerned about. Although he agreed it was some wear, he assured that we could go for another few 1000k before needing to change the oil and the wear on the part was not to be concerned about. We were really happy with his explanation and it confirmed what we hoped to hear. In the end we didnt have any work done because he thought it was not neccesary, we appreciated his honesty and advise.

This spot is really beautiful, to came here its an unpaved road, so not sure if it's accessible when it's wet. We were alone, firepit but you need a permit, very big spot to fit 2 or 3 small vehicles. No t-mobile signal at all. Just us and the woods!

Nice grassy place under big trees.
The shower was hot and the toilet clean.
Restaurant, Bar and chalets are closed and rundown.
They wait for a permit to maintain and refurbish everthing.
The guys working here are very friendly and helpful.
With some investment it could be a great place again.
The hike to the waterfall is closed.

This place was just the right spot for a quiet night. Pitched tent next to my car between trees in the non electrical spot. Clean, well maintained wash room & shower.

Very wide open, little noisy with the highway so close. Plenty of wide open spaces and great Verizon connection.

Nice campground and well spaced sites. Most are not on the water, which didn't seem a great place for swimming but there is a boat ramp and playground. There was a few threaded water spigots throughout. I didn't have cell on ATT.

We passed in 2h CR -> Panama.
in 5 five for the Costa Rica side, stamp in passport in the window salida and register the exit of the vehiculos, 2s the guy didn't want to check the van it was in the sun so sign and go to panama. Don't forget to pay online the 8$ tax easier and it's on the internet after that so immigration guy just check that

There it was fun, we begin with immigration but we wait for the doctor to check our vaccination. We wait, the immigration guy give us a formularie to complete and we wait, he said go to the insurance for the vehicle meanwhile. The insurance it's in the building across the street in the copies buildings. Made the insurance for 25$ for 1 month and copies.
go back to wait to the doctor.
He arrive, didn't really check, sign the paper and then immigration.
Normal question, even the where do you stay (in an hotel ) and when do you leave (with the shipping of our van) ? This question tooks longer because we have the reservation in a WhatsApp conversation but they accept it.
Last, go to the aduana for the paper, give your car registration and passport and seguro (with one copies of it) and wait as they enter all the data.
finally go paid the fumigation 6$ and give the paper to the guy controlling cars, he will check in 2s your car and with a nod, you can enter in Panama ! Enjoy but be careful to have all your documentation.

Parking for 13 Euro per night. We stayed directly behind the dunes, close to the beach. One toilet, fresh water and water disposal are available. Nice place to stay for 1 or 2 nights.
The money is collected in the morning around 9 am

I visited the albergue municipal and as written in the previous post you have to ask to the tourist office in the center. The price is actually 700 pp with shared bathroom and 1000 for the private bathroom. The place is clean and there is a kitchen, although they only use it to give you hot water (i think for covid reasons). At the moment the tourist office closes at 19:30 so make sure to arrive before that hour.

Kurzer, gut ausgebauter Weg abwärts (circa 500m) zu den Overlander Falls. Waren alleine dort, kein anderes Auto. Sehr schöner breiter Wasserfall.

Nice grassy camping spot, much larger than the other one in town. 100p for 2 of us, we were the only people here for 2 days (sun-tues), so we parked right at the top with the river view! The cabanas are 400/night, cheapest in town that we could find.
Only thing is I would advise not coming on the town cleaning days on the last few days of the month as it’s a noisy affair with weed wackers, leaf blowers and chainsaws. We went down to the wild camping spot to hang out during the day and we’re able to have some peace. Saw maybe 6 or 8 scarlet macaws, lots of monkeys and the biggest iguana!

We spent the day here parked by the river, enjoying the peace and nature. Great spot to string up a hammock and wait for the animals to entertain you! No one drove or walked by all day. Might be a bit rude to camp overnight here in such a small town, unless you arrive late.

Looked pretty dodgy, just two guards in the bushes, but they were perfectly friendly. Just asked our nationality, where we were coming from/going. No issues.

Motel, diner, bar, laundromat, gas station, RV parking and tent camping close beside the highway, just beside the Teslin bridge. $21 tent camping. Large portions in the diner. Good grass campsite area. Useful stop, especially now (end of May) when there was no gas station open, going south, until Watson Lake.

Super nice national forest campground. Just west of ketchum. 10/15min by car and a new bike path all the way to town. Opens the Friday of memorial day weekend and closes September. Can’t beat it for 10 dollars a day. Probably gets super busy during the peak of summer.
