notalonehere_in_jeju | Now there is NEW!!! bridge to cross the river. Paved road is continued to Pilar from this bridge. However there is unpaved, dirt road(we doubt is it a real road?) from Alberdi to here. WARNING: it’s possible to stuck inside easily. 4WD is strongly recommended. Many birds can be observed near Pilar enough(not only that area). So if it’s wet, don’t take this road. |

Paige&Parker | Stayed here 5/31-6/3 with no problems! It’s a lovely spot in a safe cute beach town. View of the ocean and many other van lifers around. Unfortunately there are new notice signs saying they’re are going to enforce “No Parking Overnight from 12am-4am” the notice is pending so you can still park here until it is passed! |

middleofasomewhere | A nice provincial park campground with staff that you can tell care about the place. Bathrooms with showers, cleaning kitchen, and laundry machines. Pretty dunes at the beach and rocky river running through the campground. It was VERY windy overnight but otherwise quiet. |

dkruis27 | The entrance is pretty rocky but it's smooth other than that. A lot of people here, everything from tents to big RVs, but everyone was fairly spread out and it was pretty quiet. Very convenient spot if visiting Capitol Reef. Great TMobile service. |

makaylabrower | Stayed here a couple nights while working a job through wonolo. Road is a bit loud, and lights are bright, so make sure you have something over your windows. In a 26ft RV and fit fine. but bigger rigs would have issues. |

lutzie.feuerstein | Wonderful spot with amazing view, space for one car with or without tent. Wind protection if the wind comes from the east, because there is the mountain. The bushes are smelling so good! We made it with 4wd and mid clearance but high clearance would be advisable because the middle of the dirt road is overgrown with the bushes.

ejohn | Old parking lot, paved, with six new electrical and water hook up sites, each one numbered. No sign declaring its name, but a numbered street address (see photo). (Not all formal campgrounds are advertised, as required for an iOverlander listing for such.) On the property is a locked community center — with no name or sign. We parked the night, but did not presume to use the hookups. (The nearby Fort Rock State Park is day-use only, with a caretaker on site in an

spenced | Clean and pleasant w free coffee at tourist office and weak wifi. Between road, trains, and truck engines was far too noisy for me to get a good nights’ sleep. Reparked multiple times and ended up on small service road at southern end of the rest area that is accessed on the way to the rear truck parking area which was much quieter than the parking lots. |

Instagram: @savannatales | From Rwanda to Uganda. If you're vaccinated you must do a rapid covid test for 10 USD at the border. We had a PCR because it was needed for hiking Volcanoes NP so all went very fast. |

Instagram: @savannatales | We were so looking forward to this place after reading the reviews but upon arrival the manager called another manager who asked for 25 USD PER PERSON. Coming from Rwanda where we paid 5 USD ppn in 90% of the places that sounded crazy, so we left. Also note they said they were building a proper campsite and for now we would stay on the lawn between the cottages and the new huge cottages they are building (which sadly took all the views to the lake and the mountains from the lawn and existing cottages area). |

white.van_no.plan | Agree with the previous reviews. Fantastic well maintained free place to stay. The hike to kittiwake colony along the cliffs edge is absolutely amazing. There were 50mph wind gusts while we were there so we felt uneasy staying in the open areas. Found a site nestled within trees which buffered wind considerably. Site had picnic table and fire pit and path down to cliff’s edge. Bread oven was not yet open but water fill-up was on and trash available. Several other campers and RV’s there during the two nights we stayed. |

MeatAroundTheWorld | We arrived in the dark and noone was there so we decided to just park in the parqueo anyway. About an hour later, Axel and his family arrived and were totally cool with the surprise casa rodante parked up. We had the opportunity to move inside the property but we chose not to as we were already settled. We did make use of all the amenities and of course made some wonderful new friends. We shared lots of food and drink with them and our little one enjoyed the company of their two girls. |

Akhil is the owner and he is super sweet, his brother has restaurant with the same name in Cuenca. The menu features two full pages of vegetarian options! Men has lots of meat options too.
