This is a nice spot right by the water just outside of Baddeck at the start of the Cabot Trail. There’s spots right off the highway but if you go a little deeper down the gravel road, there’s a nice spot to pull out. A little noisy due to highway traffic but a good spot for the night
Nice spot to sleep when exploring the area. You certainly here the highway and are easily seen from all directions but it it quite at night and beautiful being surrounded by water. We stayed 2 nights as we explored Baddeck and Sydney for supplies before heading up the Calbot Trail.
There is a great little food truck just down the road just passed the church we would highly recommend!!
As described. Quite noisy but still away from the road and a great view. Can’t complain about that
Report Check-InRight at exit 11 Cabot trail final sign. If you turn on Cabot trail, you missed it. Street light in parking lot. The soil dock into the lake is an amazing place to stay! We did move to lot by the road in morning so a fisherman could have peace!
Report Check-InWe went down the short steep gravel road, got turned around at the bottom and backed out to the end of the earth pier. Since it's just off the trans- can highway there's a good amount of road noise that should decrease at night. Beautiful spot looking out over the surrounding water.
