A car park scenic overlook spot surrounded by trees on one side and an earth bank and opportunity for sun on solar panels on the other.
Just off Highway 23 but yet lovely and peaceful with very little noise from traffic.
No facilities

The entrance was closed while there but we camped in a camper van in the big parking lot at the start of some trails and there are toilets there. We saw 5 mooses. The gate appeares to open on June 15.

This is actually an Exxon Mobile, not a Flying J, but basically same facilities. Both my husband and I had a nice hot shower for $10. Very clean facilities, friendly staff.

Decent enough to stop & nice people, we were tired so just wanted place to rest plus laundry, showers etc. not big on scenery but as a way point ok. Clean if not a little tired but perfectly ok. Restaurant simple but the better for it. Indian interpretive center just up the road worth a stop. Note a month later when we came south site was 90% flooded!! Late spring floods were really bad this year, where we camped at back of site was 5ft under water.

Only parking tolerated for a sleepover in Caraquet. For small RV only below 25 ft. Use the parking spaces near the road so as not to disturb locals and visitors to tourist shops near the water.

Dump station and drinking water only (You must use your own water hose). No parking authorized for a sleepover in the parking lot for employees and shops nearby.

I think everyone needs to understand the difference in ‘camping’ and ‘parking’ - camping means doing something OUTSIDE of your vehicle, parking means parking. Here there are no overnight CAMPING signs on the park side obviously meaning don’t set up your tent. You can park here in your van/whatever so long as you are adhering to the 3 hour parking signs. 8am-6pm, there is a 3 hour parking sign. There are vans etc all over Portway. On a side note, I wish we could all come to an understanding as to what the differences in “camping” and “parking” are lol

Roof Top Tent here last night. couple of other campers were here too. little loud around 11 pm with traffic but quiet out. stay away trucks parked as they can get noisy.

Noh parking, no facilities, weak wifi sígnal, free and safe, Good place to rest.

Espaço muito bom para acampar, existe a possibilidade de dormir mais próximo da cachoeira que também possui áreas para camping, ou na parte de cima da ponte onde nós ficamos.

Easily one of the worst sleeps of this past month. Rowdy park-goers roll in, halogen headlights blasting, until midnight and don't clear out before one; 5am trains will absolutely wake you up if you're not wearing earplugs; road noise is pretty constant in the early morning.

The crowd and vibe is fun in the evening, and watching the lights is a trip, but I wish I'd gone somewhere else for my actual sleep.

I slept very well here for one night, but early in the morning there is a lot of noise as we are on the avenue. there were two more ioverlanders in the same space

Passamos uma noite. Lugar tranquilo, mas não tem estrutura. Tinha alguns moradores de rua que dormiam na pracinha, mas foi sossegado. Mas evite andar a noite pelas ruas próximas, muito escuras e desertas e vários motoqueiros percorriam, ficamos um pouco apreensivos.

Nice quiet spot on the waterfront. Enough room for 3-4 campers all though the ground isn’t level everywhere.
Bench with table, fireplace and bin is present. 4G is acceptable.
However someone came up to us and said this was private property. Unsure if his claim was legit. They were planning to improve the spot for camping. Now he asked 100 krona for the night. So keep this in mind before setting up camp and don’t want to pay this small fee.

Nice campground, $15/night. We stayed one night and we were the only ones here. Boat ramp to the spring fed Clearwater river is busy during the day.

Parked overnight on Baseline Rd. in a six window skoolie, wasn't bothered. Definitely some road noise but nothing crazy. Chautauqua Park is a must-see, so it's great to be able to park right next to it!

LOVE it here. Showers with hot water, convenient water spouts throughout, stairs to get down to the beach, and even a little dishwashing station. Check in is 1pm and check out is 11am. Super clean and very friendly people in a cute little campground setting

We had a nice, one night stay here. It was very quiet after dark. The trails are nice. The mosquitos were fierce, but that wasn’t surprising given the time of year.

Stayed here for 5 nights with big rig. Excelent camping, just by Lagoa do Paraíso. Make mine, the evaluation of habitatnatural4x4.com, here at I-overlander.
Stayed for 01 night n Jericoacoara at pousada caminho da praia, which is excelent as well, with fair price

Big space for many vehicles. Fire ring and ok service for connectivity but not streaming - Verizon.

Small gravel spot that turns into a logging road? Stayed for 4 days without issue. Saw 2 cars come down Gertie Rd the whole time and heard ATVs the first night. Otherwise, silent. Plenty of room for our 34' trailer and kids and dogs to run around. We drove to the end of Gertie and turned around to back in. Thought of staying there, its prettier, but the impending rain made us re-think, as it's a field with muddy ruts. We ended up here and were very happy. There was a makeshift fire-pit, although not sure how "ok" that was.

There is no water coming out anymore.

There are construction signs reporting this is closed. I don’t know if it’s closed permanently. But as of now, no access.

Phenomenal overlander hotel, because it has a good location and has secure parking, which is quite difficult to find anywhere near the town center. No a/c, but a fan is supplied. Hot water is available, although water pressure is mediocre. Fast wifi. This hotel is easy to miss, look for a red building adjacent to the traffic circle.

This place is in wrong location - it is located at 44.34770, -106.71519
