Description

Got in late and left early. Stayed here for a night in our small Ford econoline van because we were so tired and didn’t feel like driving out an hour or so to the nearest camp spot outside the city. Didn’t have any trouble or knocks, my theory is because the park is not lit up at night and is fairly big. Lots of other cars came and went throughout the night. Road noise is there and pretty constant but ok for a night. Bathrooms are closed but there is a porta potty that is clean. If you stay here please be discrete and keep it to a minimum.

The toilets were open but the sinks outside the bathrooms were shut off.

Not a good place for sleeping but great for bathrooms, water, and electricity. Stopped here to make dinner before heading to PF for showers. Covered area with trash cans, grills, and outlets. A sprinter near by had an extension cord stretching from the covered area to the parking lot. Single occupancy bathrooms with outdoor sink. Water was working

We got the knock along with other vans and vehicles around 2:30am. The security person said all Salt Lake City parks close at 11pm and no overnight parking allowed.

Report Check-In

We got the boot at 2:30 in the mor ing from this place. My car and a bunch of vans were asked to leave.

Nice park. Dog friendly. Lots of trees. Perfect for hanging a hammock. Nice bathrooms. Kids playground. Fairly quiet at night. 4 other campers/vans stayed overnight, no problems.

had a really good night here. we used the sports shelter to keep dry from the rain while we cooked dinner. the bathrooms were open and clean. overall a nice spot for one night

Report Check-In

Nice quiet place to stay in a dimly lit parking lot. Did not get bothered at all through the night and had full bars of 5G on AT&T. The parking lot is plowed in the winter so snow was not a problem.

Same as other reviews, toilets were still open 9:30ish when I used them, pretty clean, other cars stayed (even one with a pop top) and no one bothered any of us, slept in till 9/10am and still no issues, lots of picnic tables around, charging port, drinking water, yeah good spot, very quiet not too many lights so good sleep

Spent two good nights here. Other cars were here as well. No problem… However there’s a sign saying “Park closed 11PM-5AM.

Slept here 3 night in a row next to the tennis courts. Peaceful, clean, with bathrooms, water fountains and even charging ports!

Cops came through and kicked everyone out around midnight, about 5 of us. I've stayed here 3 other times and haven't had any issues tho. Still no signs saying you can't sleep here 🤷

Report Check-In

Stayed in a 21’ campervan and no knocks. There was a Subaru and an overlander here too and nobody bothered us. However, when I was leaving I did the sign that says park closed 11pm - 5am.

Report Check-In

No problem here. Be respectful or this place will no longer exist. Bathrooms look to close at night, but the park worker showed up at 8:30am and bathrooms were open by 9:00am. No portapoty insight.

I stayed near here a couple of weeks ago in the back of the VA parking lot which overlooks the park. There was a big dirt lot up there and I talked to a few residents and they said they didn't think anyone would mind me spending the night there. There were a few people who stayed overnight in the park despite the 'no overnight' signs so it's probably still good.

Large parking lot and very quiet. Usually a few other vans parked overnight. Bathrooms and trash cans available. Keep it clean so we don’t lose this spot!

Report Check-In

Spent 3 nights here. Never bothered. Got in at sundown each night and left around 9-10am. Quiet. Other car/van campers here at night. Cops patrolled but didn’t bother anyone.

A totally peaceful night’s sleep. The parking lot is large and dim, so our van was not very visible to the road. Got in late and left early as the previous visitor. Great little park to walk our dog as well.
