View from the pool is nice, but quite crowded and they play really loud music!

Singida is developing quite rapidly. So we saw many new gas stations, banks and little restaurants. Also drove by a hotel called Rafiki. Which also looked pretty decent.

We had a superb staying in Denise's house. Its super comfortable and absolutely clean house. The owners apparently are not here most of the times, but Gladys runs the house. The room we stayed was huge with even an Office only for us. The bed was amazing, good shower and also good wifi. The kitchen is extreme well equiped even with dozens of spices. Theres a washing machine you can use. Parking space only for 2 cars, our Defender fitted but not good for big rigs. There is also other 2 rooms in the house for guests with shared bathroom. Very nice campsite next to a beautiful little river and with amazing views. Stayed here for a quick night on my way to Capetown and it was very convenient. They have 3 open communal spaces with a fridge/freezer , bench, braai pits, water tap etc. I wish I could have stayed longer and definitely will come back.

Sites with shade and power, clean and plenty ablutions. 2 sites have even a jacuzzi!

Indeed, there's is a gate. hi ti the little house on the left, there are some guides. entrance fee 6 00000 Rials (around 18€ for 2 ). 3h1/2 guided tour, spoke little English. at first they didn't want us to stay at the car park, they wanted us to stay 65km away near the sea. it was around 17h and the tour started at 7am next morning. eventually they allowed us to stay at the parking at the top , they kept our passports. well worth the visit. amazing scenery

They got me a new one over the weekend and replaced it quickly.
Spent the weekend with some guys who work there and they are reliable, professional and just nice!

We came for one night and ended up staying for three. The most amazing campsite in Namibia (they also have chalets). The stars of the milky way are absolutely amazing. Each site has its own private spot and absolutely everything has been thought of. Each site has its own private ablutions: spotlessly clean, with hot water for dishwashing and even laundry. Lovely hospitable owners, Tjaard & Karen. Highly recommended 5 stars.

various places along the river, there is a gravel road along it. choose your place, just be aware of where the river might go if there is a thunderstorm in the mountains behind.

You must drive .6 miles to get to camping area. For us, this place was too busy and had too much road noise. We took our 4wd Sprinter about a mile up the hill for more solitude and better cell service.

A small park with picnic benches off of the main road. The traffic is almost nonexistent after 9PM. No “no parking overnight” signs. There’s a bakery cafe super close to here for a convenient morning treat.

When we had planned our route a couple months ago, there were many options for wild camping listed here on Dauphin Island. When we arrived, they had all disappeared from the map and our original saved spot now had a “no overnight camping sign” so we went searching in the dark for somewhere to park. We finally landed here and are so glad we found it! We hope this place helps you out like it did for us.
