Perfect spot during week. Enter the street at these coordinates: 28.218003, 51.616246. at the parking you have amazing view over the salt mountain. Sometimes a bit windy. But at the weekend you won't be alone any more: already early in the morning it becomes crowded, also at night it can be busy. We highly recommend this spot during the week, then its quiet. The salt mountain is just an amazing experience, don't miss it!!!

Indeed, there's is a gate. hi ti the little house on the left, there are some guides. entrance fee 6 00000 Rials (around 18€ for 2 ). 3h1/2 guided tour, spoke little English. at first they didn't want us to stay at the car park, they wanted us to stay 65km away near the sea. it was around 17h and the tour started at 7am next morning. eventually they allowed us to stay at the parking at the top , they kept our passports. well worth the visit. amazing scenery

Report Check-InThere now is a gate and a guard at the beginning of the gravel road. You need a permit and probably also an Iranian guide coming with you. We are not sure if staying overnight is still possible ( we did not stay) as the guide has to leave his ID as deposit at the gate.

Report Check-Innice spot in the mountains, really calm and beautiful. visitors arrived around 10am for hiking, and when we left a bus was going up. wonderful mountains at sun rise and sun set.

Bring good shoes and be aware of the heat in summer. In winter the air temperature was around +24 degrees celsius.
