Cozy place to stay. Marta is a wonderful person who makes you feel at home. She has photos with visitors from all around the world.
Here you can cook or go out to buy food as lot of places and markets are close (we had dinner in pupuseria cecilia we highly recommend just two blocks from this hotel).
We paid 15 usd a room for two with fan and private bathroom. If you want a/c is 25 usd.
During nights they gate is closed and you can park your car inside. The best option we found after visiting the other hotels checked in the app

El taller ahora se llama Big Boy Car Service y es MUY BUENO ! El jefe Gaspar es muy competente, muy amable. Resolvió un problema mayor y muchos problemas menores en poco tiempo, y nos dió otros consejos muy útiles para evitar más reparaciones costosas. Nos dejó estacionar frente a su taller en el pasto, y también en su patio con total seguridad.
Otros talleres visitados no eran tan competentes como este ...

big parking with beautiful view on the village and lake. some locals people come here in the evening but it's quiet during the night.
the weather was not good for us but I think it's really beautiful with the sun!

Camped elsewhere, but this looks like good camping. I could not access the exact location given on this app. The road is closed by a gate that says it is closed to protect resources. Was looking forward to the hot spring, it seems too long of a walk. I ended up taking the bridge to the right and drove the distance it would have taken to get to the camp, it’s just the camp was not on that road. The bridge does lead to some good spots, too.

One of many pull outs on side of a logging road just N of Cloudport in the mountains among the trees and fresh air, a nice break from the heat at lower altitudes. Easily accessed by 2WD. Just after you leave the paved road are a couple big rig spots, but as you go down logging road its really only for units under 8m

I had my Landcruiser HZJ76 modified at by Daktec. The quality of the work was very good. Also, the communication was very friendly. I would go there again. They are specialized in 4*4 vehicles and participate in ralleys in North Africa.

They invited us to stay for the night in the parking lot. Everybody was very friendly. Our dog was officially not allowed but we were able to do the short walk to the mirador after closing hours with her. We weren't asked to pay an entrance fee anywhere.

At the end of the road and right at the edge of the water this spot is used by locals for fishing. It does not have any facilities like the previous one mention here but it was lots more quieter.

I camped here for 2-3 nights. Police came at night to ask someone questions but no problem. Great camp spot with sunset view on the sea and peacefulness. Trash around as always..

You can stay here with your car (on the parking) and use all the facilities (incl. shower, toilet, beach, chill out lounge, etc.) we paided 30 USD per night. Really nice to relax for some days.

Ok for a night if you are tired and arrive late. Easy to find and room for a few cars. Some traffic through the night.

Good in a pinch, but not particularly pretty. It was free, close to the highway, and I was unbothered.

Free Dump station. Free water spigot. Right next to a park on the side dirt road off the highway. Room for big rigs.

Nice clean laundry mat. So to use the machine you have to buy a card and put money on it it’s not credit card. But I was able to get around that by asking the guy at the dry cleaners with is the connecting store to the right. I’m pretty sure he was the owner and I told him I’m looking to for a one time use because I’m traveling and he said I didn’t have to buy the card he scanned his and just kept tally of my loads. Which was just one. So if you are looking to get a load done and keep moving then talk to the guy it will save you 5 bucks.

Gorgeous place, can stay directly next to the water, still 25 Q per person.

As previous entry tells, they don’t let you spend the night here anymore. They improved the road, built a ticket booth (100 ARS pp) and also toilets were being built when we were there. But they said, that we could stay outside a little bit down the road (see wild camp /separate entry).

They do propane here, however, she said they have a 3 lb minimum. I just wanted to top mine off before heading out of town so I will have to wait until I'm more empty and hope there is a place nearby. I did not see this one on the map so I wanted to make sure I added it. Added photos too.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff, quarter (or card) machines. snack machines. dollar to coin changers. large folding area.. carts.. will use again if in the area.
