Latest Check-Ins

Camped elsewhere, but this looks like good camping. I could not access the exact location given on this app. The road is closed by a gate that says it is closed to protect resources. Was looking forward to the hot spring, it seems too long of a walk. I ended up taking the bridge to the right and drove the distance it would have taken to get to the camp, it’s just the camp was not on that road. The bridge does lead to some good spots, too.

Great place, had a fire ring and some good level ground for a van, also a small clearing and more level space for a tent. I spent 3 nights here. The hot springs is just back down the road by the bridge. Not super hot, but still worth it. Right next to the river where I placed my cooler to help keep my food cold. Great spot.

Report Check-In

There were a lot of cars when we got there around 8 pm, but it was quiet overall. I didn’t use it but there was a portable bathroom outside and a truck came in to clean it in the morning. DON’T MISS THE HOT SPRING on the other side of the street.

Report Check-In

Gate is closed (until August 31st for logging) right after you cross the McKenzie river. Not an issue though, you can camp at the little parking lot area outside the gate or venture down a couple dirt roads right before the bridge. We camped along the first dirt road on the left. Super quiet and close to the river. There’s also a hot spring close to the bridge! Follow the little trail across from the parking lot. No cell service.

Report Check-In

Road leading to camp sites is currently closed.

Report Check-In

A good place to spend a night. Close to the Deer Creek. We stayed before the gate (logging road is closed due to a rock fall). Very quiet at night.
