Description
Alpine Swift Trails Campsite is situated next to the R396 Naudes Neck Pass road to Maclear. There is a wooden deck gazebo, private yard, power points, basin and barbeque. Ablutions and kitchen is shared and about 50m from the camping area. Access to the pool, tennis court and gym. Various hiking trails are available and mountain bikes to rent. Fly fishing on property is allowed.
Other basic camping is available next to the Bell river without power points.

very nice place, chalets are nice, the camping spots do have power points and braai area's, ablution block is at the main building, so walking a bit far to get there.
there is 2 more camping spots, but they are completely off grid, with no toilets. very nice spots if rigged for off grid camping.
prices are good for all accommodation on the premises.
Report Check-InStayed 5 nights, 1st at the river camp under the lovely Willow tree, the best camp spot if willing to walk or have own toilet and shower, due to rain we upgraded to single rooms R250 pppn, 2nights Garden camp, perfect spot if you want to be close to bathrooms, great kitchen etc, R150pppn, perfect base for doing the Ben10 passes. Will always return

Report Check-Instayed one night, turned up with no booking, only campers (was winter). warn showers, lovely indoor seating area. Good decking area which will be lovely when it's warmer. very friendly and helpful owners. Had an issue with the vehicle and the owner went above and beyond to resolve the problem. lovely dogs and great views. didn't stop in Rhodes but looks like a lovely place.
WiFi currently out of order due to fault in the seating area but is working by the pool. wasn't the fastest but did have good 3G.
highly recommend this camp site.
Report Check-InBesides camping, there are also bungalow type rooms around a 25 metre natural pool with shared ablutions and communal kitchen and lounge area with fireplace. All clean and easily accessible. Rates very reasonable based on pax and time of year. Friendly, down to earth hosts.
