Description

Beautiful spot in the woods with a fireplace, surrounded by trees. A little dusty, no 4 x 4 required. We spent two nights with our be t2 here and the only annoying thing was the sound of the cross bikes. But nevertheless a beautiful spot!!!

Couldn’t make it to this spot due to large mud holes in the road(keep an eye on the rain before visiting), but pulled off a half mile before. super beautiful a little bit of road noise and very convenient for the park in the morning.

Not super level but a very pretty spot. Easy to get to and daily close to the main road. Good service for ATT. The surrounding forest is super pretty. We didn’t encounter much trash but leave it better than you found it!

Great campsite, large enough for multiple vehicles. There is alot of toilet paper around the site which makes me upset. Tried to clean it up but wasn't gonna burn human fecal matter on the campsite so didn't attempt. let's do better about keeping clean sites! besides all that it is an amazing spot with the level ground down by the bottom of the site

I spent the night here. quiet place, super quiet

Report Check-In

A beautiful spot with pretty easy roads and very private. Heard some noises around 7 pm so we kept our outside lights on! Highly recommend this spot.

Report Check-In

Several spots, road was in very good condition. Dusty and wooded site. 20F cooler here than it was down in Fresno. The bars of Verizon service. No one around on a Friday at 5pm.

Turn onto Miami trails, and head down about half a mile. The road is very easy to drive, any type of vehicle will make it fine. The spot is the second site on the right. It’s relatively big, could fit multiple vehicles and there is a fire ring. The site is not very level except for down the bottom and was very clean, please keep it that way. Has 2 bars with Verizon

Absolutely loved this location! Surrounded by trees & has own fire pit. Large enough for 2-3 rigs to fit here. People use the first campsite as a staging area for UTV so you will hear them driving them around during the day/evening. Had good AT&T service here. In the mountains so just check snow conditions before coming here.

There are many spots along this road, also stayed at the established (but free) ohv campsite deeper in the forest. Signal is spotty, ok with boost. Trees provide too much shade in the winter to keep our solar / batteries topped up, after 1 week we had to leave. Super beautiful and close-ish to Yosemite.

Report Check-In

Easy to find in the dark, I’m at the second pull out, one other car was at the first pull out. Large space with at least some flat area for sleeping. Fire ring and nice log to sit on!

Off the grid camping spot near Yosemite. Highly recommended by friends and family

Report Check-In

Stayed here overnight on short notice. Spot was a little dusty but relatively private. This is the first of 3 or 4 pullout on this road, so if this one is occupied there are several others not far away.

Report Check-In

There are many spots along this road.
This spot has three signal bars for Verizon and ATT. Others spots have 2 or 1 but still a strong speed.
It's deceptively unlevel.
Unfortunately people do leave a LOT of trash. I gathered and took what I could, but it's seriously turining into a trash heap (see photo)

Great spot ! You can hear the road a little bit but other then that , it’s very quiet. We were the only ones there and there’s a fire pit but fire ban was on

Report Check-In

Nice spot with a short drive to the Yosemite entrance. Quiet at night.

Unfortunately a bunch of worthless scumbags left their shit covered TP laying all over the place. I was tired of seein it and used a stick to move it to a hole I dug and covered it up. Don't be a POS in beautiful places, or anywhere really.

Serene spot only 15 min drive from town with a grocery outlet, Raleys, autozone, Starbucks and a library w free WiFi. There are at least 3 different camp spots along the road. Absolutely no service for T-Mobile

Report Check-In

super spot, tranquille tout près de l'entrée Sud du Yosemite

Report Check-In

There are more level spots along the road than the one indicated here. Good AT&T reception, quiet night. Saw only one other car.

Nice place. Good for a night before heading to yosemite

Stayed here for 2 nights, we were alone the first night and only one RV the 2nd. Nice place surrounded by trees and super close to the main road to Yosemite

Report Check-In

lovely spot, quiet light and cool in summer!

Report Check-In

Quiet, easy to access from the main road. Well groomed trails for. 3-4 bars of LTE AT&T. I was here through memorial day weekend, and only a few cars drove by on the mountain road. Rainy, overcast weather helped with that, though :)

Report Check-In

great spot with LTE ATT service. Was moderately windy when I was here and I heard large branches falling throughout the night. I checked the trees in the immediate area before nightfall and they appeared healthy but I wouldn't stay here on a windy night. Further down the road there is a patch of deciduous trees that may be better to stay at.
