huber.lynn | Attention!! According to the gps there should be a bridge for crossing the river BUT it is not built yet! Thanks to many locals (who we helped out in the middle of the river) checking the way through the water, we manged to cross. No idea how high the water is in other times of the year… otherwise you need to get back to Independencia 60km back. |

instagram.com/theroadtrotter | Stayed here for three nights. Payed 50 Lari for the first and 40 Lari for each additional night for one person in a double bed room. Owners are very friendly. Owner speaks little russian and the young women speaks good english. Room and bath was clean. Can recommend this place. |

Kenbo | Free established primitive campground right next to a clear creek. There are about 8 spots, most right on the water. Each spot has a picnic table, fire pit, latern hook, and lots of level ground. I didn't see any vault toilets and there are no trash cans. No cell service. The road to get here was a really good gravel road, but with a couple steep and tight sections. I made it fine in my extended RWD Ford Transit, but larger vehicles may not make it. I stayed on a Thursday night all alone and it was amazingly quiet. But I'd imagine on a summer weekend it won't be so quiet. There is fun mountain bike/hiking trails, apparently there is a 12ft deep swimming hole 1/8 mile upstream. |

tcowan78 | Big Pemex with lifesaving cold showers for free. Didn't attempt to spend the night as it's right between two fast roads and suspect would have been noisy - but very much appreciated use of their showers after a super sweaty 9-hr drive to the border! |

3lkramer | Two fires rings in place. Room for a few rigs. Maybe a teardrop/roof top tent trailer, would be a tight fit but do able. High clearance needed. Very cozy little canyon at the end. |

outintonowhere | In Ecuador, immigration now has internet but aduana still sending text messages back and forth with somewhere else. Be patient. Aduana told me they rotate new people every week, so luck here varies. Don’t expect they will know exactly what to do. Road in from north after a week of dry wasn’t bad. Just slow. Left a report under the camping entry. |

getoutsidebr | Dormimos uma noite, mas no lugar marcado não cabia muito bem o nosso motorhome, por isso estacionamos do outro lado da rua. Lugar tranquilo, em frente ao “calçadão” da cidade. Nos pareceu seguro. Nice spot, but our motorhome didn’t feet weel, so we parked right in front of the street, at the costanera. Nice place to wake up close by the river. We felt safe. |
