Nice parking lot at Walmart. We asked if it is ok to stay overnight - very friendly staff was answering that we are welcome to stay. Not noisy as shop is closing at midnight. Walmart has a Burger King inside.

We can't park directly at Walmart, i asked the security guard, but in the unpaved parking lot we can.

Big Parking lot on gravel. A lot of trucks with their motor running all the time. A bit noisy.

Report Check-In

Saw a no overnight parking sign when I drove in at 11:30pm but other trucks and cars parked. Website says okay to stay overnight so the sign could have been for the other ships in the area. Stayed on the gravel lot no one bothered me

Report Check-In

Parked in the gravel parking lot next to the Walmart parking where we spotted some truckers, RVs and a couple of other vans. No one bothered us - a good place to stay!

Report Check-In

There is a huge gravel parking lot next to the Walmart's. A few trucks and RVs.

Report Check-In

Walmart parking. There were 4 other RVs at the same night. It was Sunday, and the Walmart closes at 11pm. Around 11:30pm the place got quiet

Report Check-In

there is a no overnight sign...
there are trucks but leave the place in the evening

Report Check-In

Free overnight in Walmart parking lot. Asked the security if I could stay off the dirty spot and after a long talk she agreed. First night in a RV and everything was okay. 2 adults and 2 Kids. Parked close to the trucks. Only one RV there this night!

Report Check-In

Huge gravel lot for truckers and RVs. Surprisingly quiet. No issues. Would definitely stay again when passing through.

Report Check-In

Stay out on the gravel lot with truckers, wasn’t bad at all. Lots of overnighters show up throughout the night. Felt safe and quiet.

Report Check-In

nice location, right off of the freeway. huge parking lot but security keeps trying to push overnighters onto a much smaller gravel lot which has no lights and has a constant stream of truckers who idle all night. over the course of an hour and a half I saw four RV/vans leave the trucking area and move on to the Walmart parking lot so I did also. I guess I will see if security is going to enforce everybody off of the asphalt at closing time.

I've stayed in the "truckers" lot on several occasions. I'm talking about the gravel lot that is adjacent to the paved lot. I prefer it because it's darker. Yes, there have been trucks that idle but the lot is big enough that I have room to park far enough away and I sleep just fine. Free white noise.

UPDATE: Oct 2022; This used to be my "go to" spot when traveling south, but today, I can no longer recommend it. Shortly after I parked, I got that, you know, "this ain't cool" feeling. Barking dogs and sketchy folks who have taken up residence so I decided to head down 248 as I was going that direction anyway. Only 15 miles south is the BLM campground "Sawtooth Mountain" GPS coords: 34.66833, -116.98302. I'm sitting here in a beautiful quiet and dark desert spot, glad I moved.

we were welcomed by beggars soon as we drove on to the lot, very loud, train all night long, parking lot cleaner at 1 am, big rigs running non stop, you all have to park on the dirt the parking control kicks you back there until 11pm then they're off till 11am, thankful for the park though!!

Report Check-In

Huge gravel lot next to the official parking of Walmart. Security of Walmart told us we could not stay on the official parking lot over night, but on the gravel lot.
Unfortunately lots of trucks kept engines and generators running all night, which was really loud.

Report Check-In

Works for a night. Trucks pulling in and out and leaving their engines running made it a pretty loud, but no problems.

Report Check-In

Quite a few RVs and trucks, very quiet. Very windy. Easy off on Hwy and access to historical Route 66 through the downtown was worth the detour.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Not to noisy. Open from 6-12

Report Check-In

We were a dozen RVs and a dozen semis.
A nice and quiet night.

Grand parking en gravier à coté de celui du Walmart où on ne peut pas rester pour la nuit. Quelques poids-lourds et camping-cars. Nuit calme.
