Free established primitive campground right next to a clear creek. There are about 8 spots, most right on the water. Each spot has a picnic table, fire pit, latern hook, and lots of level ground. I didn't see any vault toilets and there are no trash cans. No cell service.
The road to get here was a really good gravel road, but with a couple steep and tight sections. I made it fine in my extended RWD Ford Transit, but larger vehicles may not make it. I stayed on a Thursday night all alone and it was amazingly quiet. But I'd imagine on a summer weekend it won't be so quiet.
There is fun mountain bike/hiking trails, apparently there is a 12ft deep swimming hole 1/8 mile upstream.
